Executive biography
Jeff Hilland
Systems Architecture Lab, HPE Labs
Jeff Hilland is a Distinguished Technologist at HPE Labs, specializing in AI infrastructure with a focus on management and security. He has played key roles in advancing InfiniBand, RDMA, CXL, and Gen-Z, and was a chief architect of Redfish as well as contributing significantly to SPDM. Jeff’s career spans highly reliable fabrics, embedded computing, and operating systems, with recent work centered on inference silicon and supporting fabrics. A recognized industry leader, he has served as President of DMTF since 2012 after six years as DMTF’s VP of Technology, and currently co-chairs both the SPDM Working Group and the OCP Hardware Management Project. His past leadership includes co-chairing the RDMA Consortium, the InfiniBand Technical Committee, and the Gen-Z software and management group.
