Shape the Future of QuickSpecs - Your Input Matters

The HPE Trusted Platform Module (TPM) works with programs such as Microsoft Windows® BitLocker™ to increase data security by storing the encryption startup key in hardware on the server, which provides a more secure environment by pairing the drive to the server.

Pairing the drive to the server helps prevent the encrypted drive from being read if inserted in a different server. The HPE TPM can also store passwords, certificates, and encryption keys that can authenticate server hardware and software through remote attestation while the measured boot capability enhances the effectiveness of anti-malware solutions.

    The HPE TPM options conform to the Trusted Computing Group specifications and provides hardware-based authentication and tamper detection preventing a TPM from being moved to another server or replaced.

Support Matrix

The Trusted Platform Module Options are designed to be installed onto the vacant TPM connector on supported servers. Once installed, the TPM module becomes a permanent part of the system board. It is not designed to be removed.

The HPE Gen10 Plus TPM BR Module Kit is compatible with HPE Gen10 Plus Synergy, Rack and Tower servers

The HPE Gen10 Plus TPM WR Module Kit is compatible HPE Gen10 Plus Apollo servers.

    Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers end-of-life product return, trade-in, and recycling programs, in many geographic areas, for our products. Products returned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise will be recycled, recovered or disposed of in a responsible manner.


    The EU WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) requires manufacturers to provide treatment information for each product type for use by treatment facilities. This information (product disassembly instructions) is posted on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise web site. These instructions may be used by recyclers and other WEEE treatment facilities as well as Hewlett Packard Enterprise OEM customers who integrate and re-sell Hewlett Packard Enterprise equipment.
