Prerequisites
Before starting this learning path, you should have general industry server experience and an understanding of infrastructure management.
Objectives
After completing this learning path, you should be able to:
- Identify and correctly position HPE ProLiant Compute server embedded management tools
- Differentiate between HPE iLO 5, UEFI ROM for HPE ProLiant Compute, agentless management, intelligent provisioning, the Active Health Systems viewer, system update products (SUM, SUT, and SPP) in terms of their function and expected use
- Connect to and configure HPE iLO 5 and use it to monitor server health and locate logs for server events
- Install the HPE OneView appliance to manage and maintain firmware, implement compute and networking configurations, monitor the data center, and respond to issues
