James Cohen

James Cohen has worked in the IT industry for more than 40 years, starting as an assembler programmer. After working in a range of industries, from F&B to manufacturing, James joined HP in 1997. Until 2011, James worked in a pursuit role leading large data center consolidation and virtualization programs in various industries, particularly for logistics and defense customers. In 2011, he moved to a worldwide role and has been leading the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Pointnext Blockchain effort for the past 18 months. James has a degree in mathematics and computer science from Brunel University. As well as working in the IT industry, James served in the Royal Naval Reserve for 38 years, specializing in maritime trade operations.
