    This course is ideal for professionals who design, deliver, operate, support, and improve digital services end-to-end. This includes delivery/management, product and digital delivery, service design/architecture, and development teams working with operations. It is best suited for those focused on service quality and levels, reliability, governance, service relationships, and continual improvement.

    Prerequisites

    Before attending this course, you should have:

    • The ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) OR ITIL® 4 Foundation certificate is required as the prerequisite for ITIL®Service (Version 5) and higher‑level qualifications
    • Mandatory accredited training (via an accredited training organization or ITIL® Official eLearning) before you can sit the ITIL®Service (Version 5) exam
    • If you hold ITIL® 4 Foundation, PeopleCert and HPE provide an optional ITIL®Foundation Bridge (Version 5) transition route if you want to update to Foundation (Version 5). (Note: this bridge course and exam will be offered for a limited period only.)

    • Explain the ITIL Product & Service Lifecycle Model (scope, purpose, benefits, challenges)
    • Show how value chain activities and management practices enable lifecycle delivery

    • Understand how AI, automation, PRINCE2, and DevOps enhance lifecycle delivery
