Overview
This course is for students who want to get started with and gain familiarity with GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise (PCE). The course provides an overview of the various features of GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise, including services that provide bare metal, virtual machines, and containers all on the same infrastructure. The infrastructure can be installed on-premises or in a colocation center. Students gain an understanding of how to access the services, how assigned roles determine which tasks users can perform, how to view cost and consumption of services, and how to use built-in capacity planning capabilities to forecast future resource requirements. An overview of the developer experience is also provided. This course focuses on the user experience with a basic introduction to some administration tasks.

There are no prerequisites for this course, but we recommend you have the following before attending:
- Experience using bare metal servers, virtual machines, or Kubernetes-based containers
- Familiarity with using resources such as servers, storage, and networks in a public or private cloud
- Familiarity with utilization and capacity planning concepts

- Describe the major features of the shared responsibility model
- Describe how to access GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise
- List three common roles and their responsibilities
- Identify the services used to track costs and consumption, and plan capacity for GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise
- Identify the user interface icons you can use to obtain help, documentation, articles, and blogs
- Describe how GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise provides Terraform Infrastructure as Code integration
