Overview
This eLearning course shows the interoperability for Microsoft System Center® Operations Manager (SCOM). Licensed as part of HPE OneView, these integrations (known as HPE OneView for Microsoft System Center) prevent problems from occurring by proactively monitoring and managing hardware health and intelligently responding to hardware events on HPE ProLiant servers, BladeSystem enclosures, and HPE storage.
Audience
System architects, engineers, and consultants who plan and implement HPE OneView for Microsoft System Center.
Prerequisites
Suggested: previous experience with HPE OneView and Microsoft System Center.
Objectives
After completing this course, you should be able to:
- Identify available HPE management packs for SCOM and explain what each is used for
- Describe how HPE OneView is used as a data source for health monitoring and alerting
- Explain the differences between agent-based and agentless management, and know when to use each
- Install and configure HPE management packs for SCOM
- Manage an Azure subscription by using Azure PowerShell, Microsoft Visual Studio, and the Azure command line interface
