HPE GreenLake Flex Solution built for Cohesity (the “Service”) is a consumption-based data management in customers’ data center, on the edge, or in a co-location facility for worry-free backup, disaster recovery, file and object services, DevTest, analytics, and archiving across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

HPE will review the Cohesity systems capacity measurements and consumption trends and discuss customer’s forecast of anticipated consumption. If additional capacity is required, a scale-out capacity change order will be required as customer’s sole option to increase such capacity as part of the change management process.
During the support planning and review sessions, customer and HPE will review the Cohesity Systems capacity measurements and consumption trends and discuss customer’s forecast of anticipated consumption. Collection and reporting of used capacity will also be used to determine when additional licenses are needed as part of the change management process.

HPE, as an authorized Cohesity reseller, has resold Cohesity software, software support, and the installation services.
The provision of such Cohesity software, software support, and installation services are governed by the respective Cohesity agreements and customer is responsible for accepting such agreements directly with Cohesity.
The level of support resold by HPE under is Cohesity Platinum Service with a support coverage term that runs coterminous with the Cohesity System Term for Cohesity DataPlatform software and Cohesity DataProtect software (if included with the Cohesity systems).

This Service Description includes the resale of installation for the Cohesity DataPlatform software and Cohesity DataProtect software (if included with the Cohesity systems as set forth in the ASP). Customer is responsible for implementing the necessary agreements with Cohesity as identified previously, ensuring timely completion of the Cohesity software installation upon completion of the hardware installation.
HPE will provide Cohesity’s installation checklist for the customer to complete and return to Cohesity at the following email address cs-install@cohesity.com before Cohesity can proceed with the installation of the Cohesity software.

Customer must maintain the Cohesity DataPlatform software and Cohesity DataProtect software (if included) at the minimum software version required by Cohesity throughout the Cohesity System Term.
In addition to any customer responsibilities set forth in this agreement, the following customer responsibilities apply with respect to the Cohesity systems:
- As part of the support planning and review sessions, or sooner if necessary, the customer must communicate any potential changes to their environment, including but not limited to, any planned upgrades or updates to the Cohesity software with the ASM. This includes, but is not limited to, working with the ASM to make sure that the Cohesity software version and the BIOS version are compatible.
Customer is responsible for implementing the necessary licensing, installation, and support agreements directly with Cohesity as set forth in the following.
- Providing installation of OSs, hypervisors, and related virtualization software.
- Making any necessary network connection and configuration changes.
