HPE Lifecycle Services for SAP HANA® — supported products list
Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers a tailored portfolio of lifecycle services for HPE Solutions for SAP HANA.
- HPE CSUR Update Service for SAP HANA
- HPE OS Patch Update Service for SAP HANA
- HPE OS Upgrade Service for SAP HANA
- HPE OS Re-Installation Service for SAP HANA
- HPE Serviceguard Update Service for SAP HANA
- HPE Health Check Service for SAP HANA
These lifecycle services are available for the specified HPE Solutions for SAP HANA listed in the product-level requirements section. However, these lifecycle services are unavailable on standalone HPE Solution building blocks (compute and storage blocks) for SAP HANA.

Support-level requirements
The HPE Lifecycle Services are only available to Customer’s systems with an active support contract covering the specific HPE Solution for SAP HANA.
For HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA, the support contract must be HPE Services Tech Care, HPE Proactive Care, or HPE Services Complete Care for SAP HANA.
Given the complexity of these upgrades/updates, Hewlett Packard Enterprise does not consider these upgrades/updates as Customer installable. HPE recommends installation are performed by HPE trained specialists under the HPE Lifecycle Services offering. Any upgrades performed by the Customer are at the Customer’s risk, and any assistance associated with the upgrade process or issues resulting from an upgrade is subject to the HPE time and materials rates.

If SGeSAP is not at a compatible version, HPE recommends the HPE Serviceguard Update Service for HPE Solutions for SAP HANA which is available for purchase separately.
**** HPE Health Check service not available on Special Edition.
Note: The HPE Lifecycle Services listed in Table 1 are not available for delivery during the HPE shutdown the last two weeks of December. The HPE Lifecycle Services for SAP HANA are unavailable for purchase using HPE Team Days.
The HPE OS Patch Update Service for SAP HANA does not include Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® for SAP Solutions—OS patches on HPE CS500 and HPE CS900 appliances.
