    Expert online chat

    As part of HPE Tech Care Service, Hewlett Packard Enterprise provides customers the option to initiate an online chat with a technical specialist resource to ask questions and obtain quick technical answers about their HPE product. Expert online chat is limited to English language only and available during the service coverage window.


    Two expert online chat models are available based on the products that customers are engaging HPE for, as defined in Table 1.

    Direct chat

    The functional technical resource is engaged directly through chat.

    Chat transfer

    If a senior technical resource is unavailable at the time of chat initiation, the customer will be connected to a technical generalist. If the complexity of the question exceeds the agent’s knowledge, the issue will be logged, detailed and pending availability, the chat will be transferred, or a callback performed by HPE.

    HPE endeavors to offer direct chat for all products listed in Table 2. Any product not listed in this table and covered by HPE Tech Care Service will automatically be covered via chat transfer.
