Achieving Digital Sovereignty in a Multi-cloud environment

As manufacturers seek to unlock the value of their industrial data, ensuring security, sovereignty and privacy of one of your most valuable assets is a prerequisite for creating new services through data sharing and monetization.  To make these new business models a reality, digital transformation must begin with a data-centric architecture that allows data to be acquired, analyzed and acted upon when and where its insights are most needed. A key component of an effective data-centric architecture is the ability to choose where your data resides – on-premises, in the public cloud or in a hybrid model. GAIA-X is an EU cloud initiative that aims to establish an open, secure and collaborative ecosystem of cloud and data services protected by European laws through which businesses can share data.  HPE has been a member since its inception.  Attend this session to learn more about data-centric architectures in a multi-cloud environment.

Closed Loop Manufacturing:  Your catalyst for Autonomous Production

Industry 4.0 will shape a digital industrial future where data is the key ingredient, equipping machines with intelligence to collaborate, allowing plants to flexibly adapt to changing demands, and enabling global supply chains to instantaneously react to incidents. Pairing Industrial IoT with AI analytics holds new promise to improve operational efficiencies, increase quality and yields, and create more resilient networks.  As manufacturers reimagine a new normal, learn how digital strategies enable a shift to more autonomous operations, helping ensure business continuity in changing market dynamics.

Unlocking the Full Value of SAP S/4HANA as-a-Service for Faster Time to Insight

Manufacturing enterprises generate and rely on data from across the value chain – from manufacturing to CRM to supply chain and ERP.  Communications and data silos can make it challenging to derive intelligence and actionable insight from all the data, greatly compromising efficiency, product quality and availability.  A holistic view of data management, combined with SAP S/4HANA, can provide faster time to insight and improve business outcomes.  Experience all the advantages of an on-premises SAP Suite with the flexibility and ease of the cloud.

Autonomous Vehicles: Testing for Safety – Will they behave when they hit the road, factory floor or warehouse?

Automakers have long known the importance of designing and testing for quality and safety.  As many manufacturers march down the path to fully autonomous vehicles – cars, warehousing/distribution equipment, long-haul trucks or even public transit, safety becomes paramount.  Data scientists and engineering teams must work with massive amounts of data as they simulate not only aspects of the vehicle’s design but how it will perform and respond to a variety of environments, situations, and conditions.  Design or driving flaws could literally cost lives.  An average test car generates over 70 TB of data per shift that must be prepared, analyzed, and incorporated into the new training model.  Learn about this intersection of traditional modelling and simulation processes with AI and machine learning to test for safer vehicles.

Your Digital Transformation Blueprint to Autonomous Production

Digital transformation is now an imperative.  While the goals of transformation engagements remain unchanged – developing new revenue streams, achieving business efficiencies, faster time to market and cost optimization, risk management and ensuring continuity of operations have rapidly emerged as top priorities.  When the stakes are high, how do you ensure the success of your digital transformation project?  The reason why many digital transformation projects fail is not due to the implementation of new technology.  Most fail due to business and communication silos that create misalignment, misunderstandings and lack of a common, shared vision.  Attend this session and hear about HPE’s proven framework to align and unify the various functions impacted by digital transformation and how as-a-service technology becomes the enabler of defined business outcomes.

Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) with Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance

The performance of plant floor assets is not only critical to keeping assembly lines up and running, but vital to overall factory productivity. Over-maintaining adds costs that may not be necessary, while failing to detect when an asset is not performing well could have a domino effect – increased wear and tear on the asset, product defects, lower throughput or even an unanticipated breakdown that could halt production. Learn how condition monitoring and predictive maintenance provide visibility across plant asset performance and maintenance requirements. Hear about real world implementations that are creating value for manufacturing customers.

Can Technology Build Better Technology? Using video analytics, IoT and AI at the Edge to improve product quality

The digital factory is not a dream of tomorrow. As products become more complex, and configurations more varied, the human eye finds it increasingly difficult to detect defects.  Video analytics, AI and edge computing can automate inspections and quality assurance processes, increasing testing accuracy, speed and overall product quality.  Hear how Hewlett Packard Enterprise is using video analytics, robotics and artificial intelligence to improve server quality at the production facility in Kutna Hora, Czech Republic, plus examples of customer implementations that have generated positive outcomes.
