To ensure server reliability, HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) automatically monitors, controls, and issues health alerts. Accessible from any web-browser, SSH client, or the iLO Mobile App, you can also remotely control and perform system maintenance.

HPE’s iLO management processor provides support during the lifecycle of all HPE ProLiant servers and HPE BladeSystem, from initial deployment to ongoing management and service alerting. Upgrade your licenses for additional functionality, such as graphical remote console, multi-user collaboration, video record/playback, and much more.

Redfish API Conformance

Redfish API has made the Representational State Transfer (REST) communication protocol the industry standard for service-oriented architectures. Now, iLO RESTful API conforms with Redfish, giving you a single interface for managing different HPE Server components.

HPE iLO server management tools can use HPE iLO 4 FW to perform configuration, inventory and monitoring with full Redfish conformance. Monitor core hardware and related alerts without installing agents or providers on the host operating system.

HPE iLO Federation

Remotely manage server groups and scale to thousands of servers. Rapidly discover all iLOs, group configurations and health statuses, and which servers have HPE iLO licenses. Get information for all your servers as quickly as if you only had only one.

An HPE iLO Advanced license lets you fully implement HPE iLO Federation management. You can then take advantage of group features such as Firmware Updates, Virtual Media, Power Control, Power Capping and License Activation.

HPE iLO Standard ships with every HPE ProLiant server. iLO Advanced, Essentials or Scale-Out options can be pre-installed at no additional charge—no need for extra setup and installation.
