2016

CDP Climate A List

Hewlett-Packard Company was one of 193 companies awarded a position on The Climate A List by CDP. This distinction recognizes actions to reduce emissions and mitigate climate change in the previous reporting year. Hewlett-Packard Company was among 9% of the corporations participating in CDP’s climate change program to be awarded a position on the Climate A List.

Dow Jones Sustainability Index

Hewlett Packard Enterprise was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the fifth consecutive year. For the first time, HPE was named an Industry Leader for the Computers, Peripherals and Office Electronics Industry. HPE is one of only 24 companies worldwide to receive Industry Leader honors.

EcoVadis

Hewlett-Packard Company was awarded gold level recognition by EcoVadis, an independent assessment organization that specializes in sustainability programs performance monitoring. Hewlett Packard ranked in the top 1% of suppliers assessed by EcoVadis in all categories, and in the top 1% within the technology industry. The EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainable development standards that help to ensure reliable third-party assessment.

Points of Light Civic 50

Hewlett-Packard Company was named one of the Civic 50’s top 50 most community-minded companies in 2016, and the Technology Sector Leader for the third consecutive year.

Stop Slavery Award

Hewlett Packard Enterprise was awarded the inaugural Stop Slavery Award for Transparency and Response to Challenges by the Thompson Reuters Foundation. The award recognizes companies that have taken concrete steps to eradicate forced labor from their supply chains.

Corporate Knights 2016 Global 100

Hewlett Packard Enterprise earned a position on the Corporate Knights 2016 Global 100 list. The list recognizes world leaders in corporate sustainability, including those that balance environmental, social and economic performance, while delivering superior returns to investors.

RobecoSam

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has been recognized as one of the world’s most sustainable companies by sustainability investment specialist RobecoSAM. The Sustainability Yearbook lists the world’s most sustainable companies in each industry as determined by their score in RobecoSAM’s annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

Gartner

Hewlett-Packard Company ranked #4 on Gartner's Top 10 and Master High-Tech Supply Chains for 2016. This is the first year the ranking included SER in the overall scoring methodology and Hewlett Packard was one of only two high-tech leaders who received the highest possible corporate social responsibility score.

Development International

Hewlett Packard Enterprise was one of 15 companies that scored a perfect score, based on Development International’s criteria (SEC and OECD conformance) of those who filed a 2016 Conflict Minerals Disclosure with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

2016 WWF Canada Living Planet @ Work Distinction in Workplace Giving for Nature

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Canada received the WWF Canada Living Planet @ Work Distinction in Workplace Giving for Nature, for its work to engage and empower HPE colleagues to take environmental action and raise funds for vital conservation work.

2016 "Top Veteran-Friendly Company”

Hewlett-Packard Company was recognized by U.S. Veterans Magazine (USVM) as one of the United States’ Best of the Best Top Veteran-Friendly Companies. The goal of USVM is to open up employment, business and supplier opportunities within the federal government and corporate America for veterans.

Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award

Hewlett Packard Company was recognized with the "Most Prestigious Sustainability Award – Top Three Foreign Corporates" by the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards.

2015

CDP Supply Chain Report 2014-15

Hewlett-Packard Company was recognized on the Supplier Climate Performance Leadership Index (SCPLI) with a top “A” rating. This performance score assesses the level of action by companies on climate change mitigation, adaption, and transparency.

CDP Supplier Climate Performance Leadership Index

Hewlett- Packard Company received a disclosure score of 100 out of 100 on the S&P Climate Disclosure Leadership Index. This position recognizes Hewlett- Packard Company for disclosing high quality carbon emissions and energy data through CDP’s climate change program. The reported data was independently assessed against CDP’s scoring methodology and organizations graded within the top 10% constitute the CDLI.

CDP Climate “A” List

Hewlett-Packard Company was one of 113 companies awarded a position on The Climate “A” List by CDP. The report tracks five years of progress from the world’s largest listed companies, and reveals the extent to which corporations have shifted their strategies over the past five years to become part of the solution to climate challenge. Hewlett-Packard Company was among 5% of the corporations participating in CDP’s climate change program to be awarded a position on the Climate “A” List.

2015 Gold Halo Award

Hewlett-Packard Company received the Cause Marketing Forum’s 2015 Gold Halo Award for Best Social Service Campaign, along with global microlender Kiva, in recognition of the Matter to a Million campaign which provided all Hewlett-Packard Company employees with a $25 credit to make a loan to support Kiva borrowers in 85+ countries.

Jr. Achievement President's Volunteer Service Award

Hewlett-Packard Company was awarded the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award which recognizes organizations that provided Junior Achievement with significant volunteer resources during the 2014-2015 school year.

For the seventh year in a row, Hewlett-Packard Company was recognized by Mediacorp Canada as one of Canada’s greenest employers and is the only IT company on this list. This honor highlights those employers that lead Canada in creating a culture of environmental awareness in their organizations.

Hewlett-Packard Company received a Guardian Sustainable Business Award 2014 from The Guardian publication, which recognizes companies for their leadership in making sustainability in business a reality.

2013 Impact Award

Hewlett-Packard Company received the 2013 Impact Award from the Entrepreneurs Foundation of SVCF (Silicon Valley Community Foundation) for its strong partnership with the Taproot Foundation and its commitment to pro bono volunteerism.

Hewlett-Packard Company was among the top U.S. community-minded companies named to this annual list that ranks S&P 500 companies based on their contributions to communities in which they do business. Hewlett-Packard Company achieved top 50 status and was honored with first place in the Technology Industry and Measuring Impact awards categories. Surveys are conducted by The National Conference on Citizenship and Points of Light, and results are announced in partnership with Bloomberg News.

Guia Exame de Sustentabilidade

Hewlett-Packard Company was recognized as the one of the most sustainable companies in Brazil when it was named a winner in the Electronics segment. One of the most prestigious sustainability honors in Brazil, this award rewards companies that perform the best in sustainability categories such as strategy, economy, social, environmental, governance, and recycling.

Ethical Corporation Responsible Business Award

Hewlett-Packard Company received top honors in the Best Business/NGO Partnership category of these awards for its collaboration with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). Hewlett-Packard Company and CHAI have worked with the Ministry of Health and Strathmore University in Kenya to create a technology-based Early Infant Diagnosis solution that saves lives by achieving efficient HIV-positive infant diagnosis and reducing test result turnaround times.

Points of Light

Hewlett-Packard Company was awarded the 2013 Corporate Engagement Award of Excellence by Points of Light. The award recognizes outstanding employee volunteer programs that engage and inspire volunteers and improve communities.

Greenpeace Cool IT Leaderboard

Hewlett-Packard Company tied for the fourth position on this year’s Cool IT Leaderboard, which recognizes organizations that are leading efforts to drive change in the energy sector.

Hewlett-Packard Company was named to CR Magazine’s list of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens. The publication ranks companies based on several data categories: climate change, employee relations, environmental, financial, governance, human rights, and philanthropy.

World CSR Congress Award

Hewlett-Packard Company received the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices award for its cloud-enabled eHealth Center launched in India. The same initiative also was named the winner of India’s National Awards in Excellence for Best Use of IT in Healthcare for business innovation.

For the third year in a row, Hewlett-Packard Company ranked 2nd on Newsweek's listing of the top 500 U.S. companies, in recognition of our commitment to environmental sustainability. In addition, Hewlett-Packard Company placed 22nd on the Global 500 list.

Greenpeace Guide to Greener Electronics

Hewlett-Packard Company won the GBCHealth 2012 Business Action for Partnership/Collective Action, recognizing the Disease Surveillance and Mapping project, a public-private partnership between Hewlett-Packard Company, Positive Innovation for the Next Generation, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Mascom and the Botswana Ministry of Health (MoH). The project uses smartphones to collect data on malaria activity to streamline data collection and analysis to improve the quality of disease surveillance.

China Hewlett-Packard Company has been awarded the "The Most Respected Company in China—10 Years Contributions Award" by Peking University's Research Center of Management Case and The Economic Observer, China's leading business publication.
