Dan Tynan has been writing about technology since Steve Ballmer had hair. He has published literally thousands of stories, most of which neither he nor anyone else can remember. Thank God for Google. Most recently, Tynan was editor in chief of Yahoo Tech, David Pogue's technology news site. Prior to that, Dan was a contributing editor for Family Circle magazine, where he wrote about the intersection of parenting and technology. He also was a contributing editor at PC World and InfoWorld, authored the "Thank You For Not Sharing" privacy blog for ITworld, beloved by tens of readers, and wrote about education, government, and geeky satire for a wide range of publications and websites.
