Alex Tesch has been working with open source enterprise technologies for the better part of his 17 year IT career in companies like Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Red Hat, IBM and Sun Microsystems. He started his cloud journey while working for Red Hat Singapore delivering OpenStack projects based on the Grizzly release. He delivered the first HPC cloud in APAC for a Singapore university making use of SRIOV technologies combined with big data. He has extensive deployment experience on configuration management and automation of private and public clouds and container platforms. Alex is currently an APJ lead consultant in the hybrid IT center of excellence at Hewlett Packard Enterprise where he evangelizes the open source side of the cloud native portfolio (VMC on AWS, OpenStack, OpenShift, CDK, Mesosphere, Docker Enterprise) and helps customers migrate legacy applications to container platforms. He enjoys running automation workshops, projects and seminars in the APJ region for cloud adopters.
