    Notes:

    – Mixing LSZH and Plenum-Rated cables in the same Logical Enclosure (LE) is not supported.

    – Since the Plenum-Rated cables are newer, they require a minimum version of OneView and a minimum firmware version on the modules that they are connecting – VC 100Gb F32 Switch module and the 50G ICM Satellite module.

    • OneView version must be OV 9.0 or higher
    • VC 100Gb F32 Switch must have firmware of 2.7.0 or higher
    • 50Gb ICM Satellite that has Spare Part Number 879437-001 or P02747-001 must have firmware of 1.2.1.0 or higher
    • 50Gb ICM Satellite that has Spare Part Number P57815-001 or P57838-001 must have firmware of 2.0.2.0 or higher
    • The firmware versions for the VC 100Gb F32 Switch and the 50Gb ICM Satellite modules are part of the SSP SY2024.07.01

Warning: If non-supported firmware is used with Plenum cables, creation of the Logical Enclosure will fail. Customers must upgrade all firmware on connecting modules before installing the Plenum-Rated cables.

Ensure that OneView and the modules that these cables are connecting have supported firmware before starting any replacement or growth operations with Plenum-Rated cables.

Check the HPE OneView for Synergy version number. If you are not running HPE OneView for Synergy version 9.0 or later, update the software. See the HPE OneView for Synergy User Guide Document - HPE OneView for HPE Synergy Firmware and Driver Update Guide | HPE Support for details on updating the software.

Update the firmware on the connecting modules. See the HPE OneView for Synergy User Guide Document - HPE OneView for HPE Synergy Firmware and Driver Update Guide | HPE Support for details on updating the firmware.
