Course 1: HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software Foundations

Description: This course helps expand your technical knowledge and build foundational skills on the HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software cloud management platform. It provides an explanation of key concepts and features and covers the most common HPE Morpheus Enterprise use cases.

Course 2: HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Software

Description: This course provides a comprehensive introduction to HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Software. You learn how to install and configure the VM Essentials manager, provision HVM clusters, and set up shared storage options such as NFS and GFS2. The course also includes steps for migrating the VM Essentials manager to shared storage and creating custom virtual images for provisioning.

After completing this training, you should be able to:

  • Describe the VM Essentials solution and its features
  • Understand network considerations when deploying VM Essentials including network bonding with an overview of common network bonding configurations
  • Understand how to configure networking on the HVM hosts and the different networking configurations that can be implemented for the solution with regards to the compute, management, and storage interfaces
  • Understand the system requirements for installing VM Essentials
  • Describe the role of the VM Essentials Manager
  • Understand how to install the VM Essentials console and how this can be utilized to configure the HVM hosts
  • Install HPE VM Essentials software
  • Perform initial setup using VM Essentials manager
  • Deploy an HPE VM cluster
  • Describe the different storage options for HPE VM clusters and how to add these to a cluster and configure datastores
