Overview
This course teaches you how to deploy and administer Rancher Manager for Rancher Prime in existing Kubernetes clusters. The course begins with an introduction to Rancher Manager, what is required for a deployment, different deployment strategies, and best practices for deployment.
This course also provides an understanding of deploying Rancher Manager in three different ways depending on your specific needs: self-signed certificates, Let’s Encrypt, and signed certificates. Deployment in an air-gapped environment is also covered. Students are taught how to back up and restore Rancher Manager, migrate it to a new cluster, and how to upgrade it from a previous version to the current one.

Before attending this course, you should have Linux command line experience and an understanding of Kubernetes objects and resources. We recommend you complete the the KUB201v1: Kubernetes Administration course.
