  • 1. Overview

    The HPE Greenlake Flex Solution built for Databases is a workload-optimized solution that provides a subscription with pay-per-use consumption infrastructure that is optimized for database use with a variety of configurations to suit all needs and support leading databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and EDB Postgres. The solution also provides a control plane (database platform automation) that delivers self-service orchestration of database workloads and lifecycle management. Expert-designed pre-size configurations developed to deliver levels of availability, performance, functionality, and cost, to meet a range of enterprise database needs.

    HPE Greenlake Flex Solution built for Databases is designed for your existing databases. Optional services include installing, configuring, and managing the OS, hypervisor, VM, and database (Database-as-a-service).

    • i. Hardware racking, cabling, power testing

  • 5. HPE Managed Services monitor, manage, and administer services for HPE DL Servers, SAN, Nimble

    • Monitor health status, Backup/Recovery, and update firmware.

  • 6. Optional Services:

    • HPE Managed Services available for hypervisor management
    • HPE Services available for database platform automation tool customization & integration
    • HPE Managed Services available for hypervisor + VM + DB management (Database-as-a-service)

  • 7. Customer Responsibilities

    The customer is responsible for providing the required software licenses, including database, operating system, and virtualization software.
