    HPE GreenLake for Networking is a comprehensive network as a service (NaaS) offering that allows you to consume the HPE Aruba Networking market-leading Edge Services Platform (ESP) in a cloud-like way.

Overcome traditional budgetary obstacles by combining all required hardware, software, and services in a single monthly subscription with no up-front capital expenditures required.     HPE GreenLake for Networking service packs are modular unitized networking service offerings. Each Service Pack consists of the required HPE Aruba Networking hardware, software, and service components for the specific use case.

    Overview

    Service Packs

    HPE GreenLake for Networking offers network-as-a-service (NaaS) experience leveraging the breadth of HPE Aruba Networking solutions with a flexible way to consume network infrastructure via monthly subscription versus an up-front capital expenditure.


    Service Structure

    HPE GreenLake for Networking solutions are enabled using modular “Service Packs.” Each Service Pack consists of the required HPE Aruba Networking hardware (“Systems”), software, and service components for the specific use case. Service Packs are delivered as a monthly subscription invoiced in advance.

    Core Features

    Service Packs

    Includes the required HPE Aruba Networking Systems, software, and service components for the specific use cases of the product solutions.


    Consumption

    • Term duration: The subscription duration or Service Pack Term is either 36 or 60 months with monthly billing.
    • Flex up: Customers can flex up by placing additional Service Pack orders that have their own respective 36− or 60−months Service Pack Terms.
    • End of term: Approximately 12 months prior to the expiry of the Service Pack Term, Hewlett Packard Enterprise will provide end of the Service Pack Term options to extend month−to−month, renew, or return.

    Customer Experience Management (CEM)

    CEM service assists in service delivery and provides relevant information to the designated partner or customer (or both) throughout the consumption terms. CEM deliverables are based on the total contract value and are as follows:

    • − Digital experience assists in all phases of the service management lifecycle and is available throughout the length of the Service Pack term. The digital experience includes access to the HPE Aruba Networking Service Manager (ASM) portal, which provides relevant, up−to−date information about the network infrastructure as well as access to expertise via the “Ask CEM” function.
    • − In addition to the digital experience described above, contracts exceeding $1M in total contract value may also receive additional HPE resources, who will work with a designated partner or customer (or both) to assist in service delivery during all phases of the service lifecycle and throughout the Service Pack term.

    The HPE GreenLake for Networking provides the following categories of Service Packs.


    Wireless

    Provides WLAN access service at customer sites, including guest Wi-Fi access within a limited area. Provides customer device endpoints with WLAN connectivity and performance to the WAN edge CPE at a site, on the internet, at customer resources, and on any cloud in accordance with applicable design standards.


    Wired

    Provides physical wired network switching infrastructure service to link together computers, printers, specialty equipment, and peripheral equipment within a defined area, such as a site. Provides customer device endpoints with wired connectivity and performance to the WAN edge customer premises equipment (CPE) at a site, on the internet, at customer resources, and on any cloud in accordance with applicable design standards.


    SD-Branch

    The HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-Branch solution centrally automates the deployment, management, and operation of wireless, wired, and WAN infrastructure under a single, software-defined framework.


    SD-WAN

    The HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect portfolio power a self-driving wide area network for cloud-first enterprises. The HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN platform enables enterprises to improve application performance and dramatically reduce the cost and complexity of building a WAN by leveraging broadband to connect users to applications. Additionally, HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect Enterprise provides a secure network foundation for zero trust and SASE frameworks.


    HPE Aruba Networking User Experience Insight

    Provides performance monitoring solution to validate network health and user experience through synthetic testing. UXI assumes the role of an end user, evaluating the performance, connectivity, and responsiveness of network services as well as internal and external applications.


    Network Policy

    HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Policy Manager, part of the HPE Aruba Networking 360 Secure Fabric, provides role- and device-based secure network access control for IoT, BYOD, corporate devices, as well as employees, contractors, and guests across any multivendor wired, wireless and VPN infrastructure.


    Core Services Feature Details

    Consumption terms

    •  Term duration: The subscription or Service Pack Term is either a minimum 36 or 60 months with monthly invoicing in advance. A Service Pack Term begins upon the earlier of 1) the activation of the Service Pack by the Customer or 2) the 31st day from the next business day from shipment date of the Systems in the Service Pack to the customer’s or partner’s specified ship-to address in the order.
    • − Flex up: To support the growth of the customer’s expanding network needs, customers can flex up by placing additional Service Pack orders as per standard Service Pack Term durations of 36 or 60 months.
    • − End of term: Approximately 12 months prior to the expiration of the Service Pack Term, Hewlett Packard Enterprise will provide end of the Service Pack Term options to extend month-to-month, renew, or return.
      • • Extend: Extend existing contract month-to-month subject to the Systems in the Service Pack not being “end of support” (Automatic default in the event of no option being selected.)
      • • Renew: Renew the contract for another minimum 36 or 60 months with an option to refresh technology—Return: Return the Service Packs to cancel the service

    CEM

    CEM service assists in service delivery and provides relevant information throughout the consumption terms. CEM deliverables are based on the total contract value and as listed as follows.

    • − Digital experience assists in all phases of the service lifecycle and is available throughout the length of the Service Pack term. The digital experience includes access to the HPE Aruba Networking Service Manager (ASM) portal, which provides relevant, up-to-date information about the network infrastructure as well as access to expertise via the “Ask CEM” function.
    • Digital experience includes the following:
      • • User and site onboarding
        • Supports partner or customer (or both) by providing relevant information to design and deploy Service Packs including the checklist of recommended activities.
      • • Access to HPE Aruba Networking Support Portal (ASP) and HPE Aruba Networking Service Manager (ASM) and demo videos on how to use it.
      • • Enable Inventory collection for reporting.
        • Provides designated partner or customer (or both) with information on how to add the inventory data into ASM and generate relevant reports. Also, provide Contextualized product advisories for security, end of life, end of development, and end of support report based on collected inventory access to product advisories for security, end of life, end of development and end of support are available to the user.
      • • Ask CEM: Provides access to expertise to answer service-related questions
        • Digital method to provide Service Pack related information to designated partner or customer (or both) inquiries.
    • − In addition to the digital experience, contracts exceeding $1M in total contract value may also receive additional HPE resources, who will work with a designated partner or customer (or both) to assist in service delivery during all phases of the service lifecycle and throughout the Service Pack term. This may include the following:
      • • Kick-off meeting to go through the predefined RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed) and associated work activities.
      • • Service planning meeting to define metrics relevant to the customer for network operations.
      • • Review customer’s as-built document for best practices and define metrics relevant to the customer for network operations so that, there is a baseline and opportunity for continual service improvement based on metrics defined.
      • • ASM and ASP detailed information walkthrough workshop to go through the ASM and ASP and answer any questions relevant to the customer deployment including the ASM reports.
      • • Escalation matrix that defines when escalation should occur and who should handle each escalation level. This is the operational RACI that provides the details on who to contact based on severity and priority of the issue.
      • • Conduct Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings to cover
      • • Inventory reports and defined metrics.
      • • Reporting lifecycle and operational metrics.
      • • Customer success plan implementation status.

    Notes:

    − Assigned HPE resources are available remotely only on regular HPE workdays (excluding weekend days and HPE holidays) during country specific HPE standard business hours.

    − CEM does not include Intelligent Operations (IO) and service-level agreements (SLAs).

    − Total order value is based on per end-customer.

    Service Limitations

    • − These services apply to Service Packs only and do not extend to the modification of any configurations of any equipment that is not part of the HPE GreenLake for networking.
    • − Services are delivered in English only.
    • − HPE may use resources outside the country of purchase for the delivery of these services.
    • − All Service Packs may be included in the CEM service; however, some HPE Aruba Networking products are not capable of being monitored and managed by the ASM platform.
    • − Orders are by default single country. Service Packs are shipped when available and Service Pack Terms may not be co-terminus.
    • − Not All Service Packs include HPE Aruba Networking Central License.

    Configuration Information

    Ordering and Invoicing Information

    • − Availability of Service Packs may vary according to local resources and may be restricted to eligible products and geographic locations. To obtain further information or to order HPE GreenLake for networking, contact the HPE Aruba Networking customer success manager or local HPE Aruba Networking authorized partner, or sales representative.
    • − Invoicing shall be monthly in advance immediately following the commencement of the first Service Pack Term.

    Customer Responsibilities

    Service packs customer is accountable and responsible for the following:

    • − Protecting HPE’s ownership interest in the Service Packs by:
      • • Ensuring the affixing at time of deployment, any marking supplied by HPE evidencing HPE’s ownership
      • • Using due care to maintain the Service Packs in good working order, ordinary wear and tear excepted
      • • Not relocating any service packs into a different country from that of the customer’s ship-to address country and not relocating any Service Packs once deployed, without working with HPE Aruba Networking Customer Success Manager and obtaining HPE’s consent
      • • Not making any modifications to the Service Packs
      • • Keeping the Service Packs in safe custody and control, free from damage and free from any liens or encumbrances from the date of delivery to customer locations until the Service Packs are returned to HPE.
      • • Insuring or self-insuring the Service Packs from loss or destruction
      • • Deinstalling the Service Packs and returning the Service Packs within 15 calendar days of expiration or termination of the applicable Service Pack Term, in the same condition as when delivered (including resetting and deletion of all customer data in all such service packs)—ordinary wear and tear excepted and freight prepaid and insured to the destination identified by HPE.
    • − Providing appropriate facilities for the Service Packs, including but not limited to
      • • Floor and rack space
      • • Electricity
      • • Physical security
      • • Network cabling
      • • Network for both LAN and WAN connectivity and bandwidth
    • − Notifying HPE if the Service Packs in an environment that poses a potential hazard to the good and continued function of the Service Packs.
    • − Being accountable for all current-state and future-state network architectures, designs, integration projects, and others, with respect to the HPE Aruba Networking network environment supported by the Service Packs.
    • − Adhering to licensing terms and conditions regarding the use of any HPE Aruba Networking SaaS and tools (for example, ASM platform) provided to facilitate the delivery of the services, as applicable.
