The HPE Update snap-in reports the firmware and software inventory and status generated by HPE Smart Update Manager (SUM). The selected components will get updated on the cluster from Cluster-Aware-Updating (CAU) orchestration.
The HPE Deployment snap-in reports the firmware and software inventory and status generated by HPE Smart Update Manager (SUM), then initiates installation of the selected components, followed by showing the completion status.
The Azure Stack HCI Extension Overview Page displays important cluster node details including a summary of the node type, server model, OS version, and disk setup.
Utilizing the Azure Stack HCI Extension storage page, you can see inventory of disks on each node, along with health, location, and disk type. Clicking on a listed drive will highlight the drive location on the storage graphics display and the disk LED can also be activated from the GUI for easy identification.
Simplify server management
Utilizing HPE’s iLO technology, the HPE Extensions for Windows Admin Center give you direct visibility to server level inventory and diagnostic information to help monitor, manage, and troubleshoot your server infrastructure right in Windows Admin Center.
Server Health and Management Extension
Displays server health and remediation options, server components (processor, memory, etc.), and current BIOS settings all from one simplified management toolset providing a “single pane of glass” view combining operating system and hardware information.
HPE OneView Extension
Provides server inventory, health status, firmware and driver monitoring, as well as network inventory management of HPE ProLiant and Synergy servers, including HPE OneView Server Profiles and HPE Virtual Connect networking. Also provides support for ProLiant and Synergy Gen 8, 9, and 10 servers.
HPE Storage extensions for Windows Admin Center
Delivers an overview of the key metrics for HPE Primera Storage, HPE 3PAR Storage, and HPE Nimble Storage including General Storage System information, Health summary, Configuration Summary, Performance metrics – IOPs, Bandwidth, Latency – along with an Inventory of hardware and Logical/Storage components.
HPE Nimble Storage
- Hardware components such as Arrays, Shelves, Controllers, Physical Disks, Power Supplies, Fans, Ports, Network Devices.
- Logical/Storage components such as Pools, Folders, Volumes.
HPE Primera Storage & HPE 3PAR Storage
- Hardware components such as Physical drives, Drive enclosures, Controller nodes, Ports
- Logical components such as Virtual volumes, Hosts.
HPE Nimble Storage
- Hardware components such as Arrays, Shelves, Controllers, Physical Disks, Power Supplies, Fans, Ports, Network Devices.
- Logical/Storage components such as Pools, Folders, Volumes.
HPE Primera Storage & HPE 3PAR Storage
- Hardware components such as Physical drives, Drive enclosures, Controller nodes, Ports
- Logical components such as Virtual volumes, Hosts.
Complements the HPE Server Extension by adding additional information from HPE OneView. This includes HPE OneView specific information such as the HPE OneView Server Profile, as well as context sensitive links back to OneView, Server Profile, Server Hardware, and iLO.
Displays network interface details for HPE Synergy and ProLiant BL server connected to HPE Virtual Connect. Provides network name, interconnect type, bandwidth allocation, and vLAN information.
Provides an overview of the selected HPE Storage System. Shows general storage details, health, performance, capacity, configuration summary etc.
On the Server Extension Overview Page, you can find several key pieces of information including a summary of the server model and server hardware health status, as well as a report of the key firmware and software versions and indications whether the installed versions are the latest versions. For example, this server is showing a critical status for the Storage component with details in the bottom section to help point out the specific faulty component.
