Fidelma Russo is Executive Vice President, President and General Manager of HPE Hybrid Cloud, and Chief Technology Officer of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. She leads the company's hybrid cloud strategy and technology agenda, helping enterprise customers unlock the value of their data, modernize infrastructure for AI, and operate with greater simplicity across complex hybrid environments.
As General Manager of the Hybrid Cloud business, Fidelma leads the organization responsible for the strategy, product roadmap, and go-to-market execution of HPE's Hybrid Cloud portfolio, including GreenLake, storage, private cloud, and infrastructure software. As CTO, she advances HPE's long-term innovation agenda through the Office of the CTO and HPE Labs.
Since joining HPE as CTO in 2021, Fidelma has played a central role in shaping GreenLake, HPE's unified cloud platform experience, which helps enterprises simplify IT, reduce cost, and accelerate transformation. She has led the Hybrid Cloud business since its formation in 2023.
Based at HPE's corporate headquarters in Spring, Texas, Fidelma brings more than three decades of leadership across enterprise technology, spanning hardware, software, cloud services, AI and analytics, storage, networking, backup, servers, and global IT services. Before joining HPE, she held senior executive roles at VMware, Iron Mountain, EMC, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun Microsystems.
Fidelma also brings extensive public-company governance experience. She serves on the Board of Directors of Equinix, where she chairs the Technology Committee and serves on the Nominating and Governance Committee. She previously served on the Equinix Audit Committee, the HP International Bank board, and the boards and audit committees of Wolters Kluwer B.V. and SBA Communications. Her leadership has been recognized by Data Centre Magazine's 2026 Top 100 Women and Technology Magazine's 2025 Top 100 Women.
Fidelma holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Boston University.
