Attending this course will teach you the fundamental skills to configure and manage modern, open standard-based networking solutions using HPE Aruba Networking's AOS-CX routing and switching technologies. In this course, learn about AOS-CX switch technologies including: Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), redundancy technologies such as Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), link aggregation techniques including Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), and switch virtualization with HPE Aruba Networking Virtual Switching Framework (VSF). You also learn about IP routing including static and dynamic IP routing with Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).

Network Security Fundamentals
This course covers foundational security concepts. It describes common security threats and vulnerabilities and provides an overview of important security technologies. Learn how to create a trusted network infrastructure with HPE Aruba Networking mobility solutions and switches. In addition to discussing device hardening, the course discusses implementing security at the edge with AAA, basic roles and firewall policies, dynamic segmentation, and endpoint classification. The course explains basic threat detection technologies and how to collect logs and alarms, including how to use them to initiate an investigation.
Ideal candidates for this course
A network or help desk engineer working in a customer or partner environment that has six months to a year of experience in networking in both wired and wireless environments.

Implementing Network Security
This course helps admins use the HPE Aruba Networking portfolio to implement Zero Trust Security (ZTS) and protect their networks from threats. It explains how to configure HPE Aruba Networking network infrastructure and ClearPass solutions to authenticate and control both wired and wireless users, as well as remote users through Security Service Edge (SSE). Learn how to collect a variety of contextual information using ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and implement advanced role mapping and enforcement policies.

Learn how to set up ClearPass as an AAA server and configure Policy Manager, Guest, OnGuard, and Onboard features. In addition, this course covers integration with external Active Directory servers, monitoring and reporting, as well as deployment best practices. Orchestrating Distributed Services with the CX 1000 Series

Learn why the CX 10000 Switch is unique and how its placement in the DCN will dynamically change the performance and security. Students will learn how and where to install the CX 10000 Switch. Through the HPE Aruba Networking Fabric Composer, students will create and configure their entire network, as well as create and apply policy, including micro-segmentation. Using AMD Pensando PSM, students will understand how it integrates with Fabric Composer and the CX Switch, and they will be able to monitor switches and policy performance.

Introduction to Juniper Mist AI
This workshop is accelerated content based on the full 3-day instructor-level course Introduction to Juniper Mist AI (IJMA) serving as the springboard to understanding the Mist AI™ Full Stack offerings, including Mist AI wired, wireless, and software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) network. In their lab environments, students will explore each Mist AI offering at a high level, focusing on wireless and Edge products, switching and campus design, SD-WAN connectivity, enterprise routing capabilities, deploying Juniper Mist Access Assurance and Juniper® Location Service, driven by Mist AI™. This workshop outlines Mist AI and how the full stack combines for complete AI-native networking. After completing this course, students can better articulate the benefits and essential functions of the flexible, scalable, and distributed Mist AI architecture across their wired, wireless, and SD-WAN networks. The course is based on the Juniper Mist cloud, which updates on a biweekly basis.

Deploying and Managing Juniper Wireless Networks with Mist AI
This is an accelerated workshop based on the full 4-day Deploying and Managing Juniper Wireless Networks with Mist AI (JWMA). This course is an intermediate-level course that provides students with knowledge required to work with enterprise wireless technologies and Juniper Driven by Mist AI™ wireless networks. Students will gain knowledge of wireless technologies and Juniper Mist™ technologies and learn how to configure and use them.
Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience with the features and functionalities of Mist AI-driven wireless networks. Key topics include Wi-Fi basics, Juniper Mist architecture and usage, Juniper Wi-Fi implementation, location-based services, Juniper Mist application of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

Deploying and Managing Wired Networks for Campus, Branch with Mist AI
This workshop is accelerated content based on the full 4-day intermediate-level course Deploying and Managing Wired Networks for Campus and Branch with Juniper Mist AI (JCMA), providing exposure to the Juniper Mist™ Wired Assurance solution, overviewing its three installation stages: Day Zero-Provisioning, Day One-Deployment, and Day Two+-Operations.
The course explores the supporting technologies, software, and hardware that make up traditional campus LANs and fabrics. The course includes Juniper Mist Wired Assurance Day One configuration, Virtual Chassis configuration through Juniper Mist™, wired client management, site variable and dynamic port configuration management, campus fabric deployment, and lastly, the discussion and implementation of group-based policies (GBPs) and microsegmentation.
Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience with provisioning, deploying, and managing Juniper Networks® EX Series Switches and Juniper Networks® QFX Series Switches. Students will also deploy switches to create an Ethernet VPN–Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPNVXLAN) campus fabric. The students will complete all these tasks in a dedicated lab through the Juniper Mist portal as time permits. Juniper Mist is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that updates in a monthly cadence. The labs focus on implementing and managing switches using the Juniper Mist GUI in both a traditional campus architecture and a modern campus fabric architecture.

Introduction to Juniper OS (IJOS)
This accelerated workshop is based on the full 4-day foundational-level course Introduction to Juniper OS (IJOS), providing students with an overview of foundational knowledge required to configure, verify, and troubleshoot devices that run Junos OS. Students will gain a wide variety of practical experience with using the command-line interface (CLI). The course focuses on routers and switches, and explains Layer 3 network interface basics, routing tables, static routes, OSPF, Layer 2 switchports, user accounts, firewall filters, routing policy, and troubleshooting. Attention is given to the power of the candidate configuration, rolling back changes, and the power of the Junos OS configuration hierarchy. The course also discusses the key architectural components of the software that powers Junos OS, the separation of the control plane and the data plane, and the reasons that Junos OS is built for automation.
Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring Junos OS and monitoring basic device operations.

Junos Intermediate Routing and Enterprise Switching
This accelerated workshop is based on the full 3-day Junos Intermediate Routing (JIR) and 2-day Junos Enterprise Switching (JEX) courses, providing students exposure to Juniper enterprise routing and switching. It also provides students with intermediate switching knowledge and configuration examples using Junos Enhanced Layer 2 Software. This course includes an overview of switching and routing concepts and operations, virtual LANs (VLANs), the Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), port and device security features, and high availability (HA) features.
Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS and in monitoring device operations. This course also provides students with intermediate routing knowledge and configuration examples. The course includes an overview of protocol-independent routing features, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, routing policy, IP tunneling, load balancing, high availability (HA) features, VRRP, and IPv6.

This accelerated workshop is based on the full 3-day Introduction to Juniper Data Center (IJDC) overviewing Ethernet switching, VLANs, Layer 2 security features, routing policies, lag and more. It is an introductory course that covers Ethernet switching, VLANs, Layer 2 security features, routing policies, link aggregation, load balancing, filter-based forwarding (FBF), routing instances, OSPF, BGP, graceful restart, and Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD). This course offers attendees the knowledge to operate and manage Juniper Apstra. It also provides an overview of modern data center design and intent-based networking concepts. The course overviews the Juniper Apstra architecture and its data center reference architecture including the designing, building, deploying, and automation of both a collapsed IP fabric and a three-stage IP fabric using a Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) overlay. The course also covers the navigation of the Juniper Apstra UI including creating resources, designs, templates, and instantiating blueprints (a running network).

Introduction to Juniper Security
This accelerated workshop is based on the full 3-day introductory-level course Introduction to Juniper Security (IJSEC) providing knowledge required to secure their network using SRX Firewalls. It is an introductory-level course that provides students with the knowledge to secure their network using SRX Series Firewalls. It includes coverage of security zones, security policies, content security, and network address translation (NAT).
Through selected demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience with each of these concepts. This course is based on Junos OS Release.
