Power over Ethernet (PoE) support
The Instant On Switch Series 1840 is ready to deploy in 8-, 24-, and 48-port models for non-PoE and Class 4 PoE models. Up to 30W PoE power delivery per port is available for Class 4 PoE devices. With PoE and non-PoE ports supported in the same PoE model, these switches are ideal for the most cost-efficient environments' switching needs.
Flexible management options
Easily deploy and flexibly manage the Instant On Switch Series 1840 using one of the supported management modes. Use the Instant On mobile app and web portal for remote access for Instant On network end-to-end management, or use the local web GUI for on-premises control.

Two (2) and four (4) dedicated 1G SFP fiber ports are available on 8-, 24-, and 48-port models, respectively, eliminating traffic bottlenecks across your network. Fiber connectivity provides higher uplink bandwidth and performance over longer distances than copper cabling can.
PQC-Ready TPM 2.0
Advances in quantum computing make it easier for cyber attackers to disrupt systems at the hardware level. The TPM V2 firmware has Learning Management System (LMS) algorithms, making the chip Quantum Resistant or PQC.
