Rami Rahim

Rami Rahim is Executive Vice President, President, and General Manager of HPE Networking, which delivers industry-leading AI for networks and networking for AI solutions for enterprise, service provider, and cloud customers worldwide.

In this role, he leads the combined HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking product lines, overseeing engineering, product, sales, and services organizations focused on delivering a comprehensive, cloud- and AI-native networking platform.

Rami joined HPE in 2025 through the acquisition of Juniper Networks, where he served as chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors for a decade. Under his leadership, Juniper evolved from a networking hardware company into a leader in AI-native networking, combining innovative software and hardware solutions that accelerated growth and strengthened profitability.

A pioneer in Juniper's journey from the beginning, Rami was employee No. 32 and helped develop the company's first breakthrough product, the M40 core router. He later led Juniper's acquisition of Mist Systems, bringing industry-first AIOps capabilities to the wired and wireless portfolio and establishing the company as a recognized leader in AI-driven network operations. He also helped position Juniper at the forefront of networking for AI, expanding its capabilities to support the specialized demands of large-scale AI data centers and next-generation AI workloads.

Throughout his career, Rami has held a range of engineering, product, and business leadership roles, including executive vice president and general manager of Juniper's Development and Innovation organization, where he oversaw the company's entire technology and product portfolio; executive vice president and general manager of the Platform Systems Division; and senior vice president of the Edge and Aggregation Business Unit.

Rami holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He also completed an executive education program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. A named inventor on 20 U.S. patents in networking technologies, he is a member of IEEE and also sits on the Board of Directors of Autodesk, a global leader in Design and Make technology.
