
Rami Rahim

Rami Rahim is president and general manager of the HPE networking business. HPE Networking delivers industry-leading AI for networks and networks for AI solutions for customers across enterprise, service provider, and cloud sectors.
In this role, Rami is responsible for the HPE Networking business, encompassing the HPE Juniper Networking and HPE Aruba Networking product lines. Rami heads engineering, product, sales and services teams with a focus on cloud- and AI-native IT networking technologies that comprise a comprehensive and modern networking stack.
Rami joined HPE in 2025 via the company’s acquisition of Juniper Networks. Before its sale to HPE, Rami was chief executive officer of Juniper Networks and a member of the company's Board of Directors for 10 years.
Rami was hired into Juniper as employee No. 32 and worked as an engineer on its first breakthrough product, the M40 core router. During his time at Juniper, Rami helped transform the company by evolving its hardware offerings into full stack AIOps software and hardware solutions that materially grew the business while improving its margin profile. He led the company’s acquisition of Mist Systems which added industry-first AIOps technology across the wired and wireless portfolio, positioning Juniper as a leader in industry analyst reviews and multiplying growth of the company’s enterprise business. Beyond AI for network operations, Rami also positioned the company to address the nascent segment of networking designed to build data centers for large-scale AI models that require specialized optimization capabilities.
Rami held a series of technical and leadership roles, including executive vice president and general manager of the Juniper Development and Innovation organization, overseeing the company's entire product and technology portfolio; executive vice president and general manager of the Platform Systems Division for routing and switching; and senior vice president of the Edge and Aggregation Business Unit.
Rami earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and completed an intensive six-week executive program at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He is a named inventor on 20 U.S. Patents granted in networking technologies and is a member of IEEE.
