Install Slot 2 PCI Card

Install slot 2 PCI card in a CS-Storm chassis.

  • Part Numbers:
    • 100509800 - PCIE CARD, DUAL PORT 8GB FC
    • 132-00150A - PCIE CARD, HCA CONNX-3 EN 10GB DUAL-P SFP+ PCIE-3 X8
  • Time: 20 minutes
  • Tools: Phillips screwdriver
  • Server Location: The server is removed from the rack, placed on a stable ESD-safe work surface, and the cover is removed.

Applies to Intel® Washington Pass motherboards only (2626X chassis).

  1. It may be necessary to remove the manufacturer's PCI expansion slot bracket from the replacement PCI card, and move the PCI mounting bracket from the old PCI card to the new PCI card.
  2. Install the PCI card in the slot 2 riser Gen3 x8 PCI slot.

  3. Install two screws to secure the slot 2 PCI card to the rear panel.
  4. Install the cover on the server.
