Node Status
Explanation of the Node Status view of the Dashboard tab
The Node Status view presents state information for every node in the Sonexion system, including the primary and secondary management (MGMT) nodes and Lustre file system nodes (MGS, MDS, OSS). Nodes are listed in sequential order by hostname. Each node is presented as a colored square in a systemwide heat map; the colors represent different states, as noted in the node state legend. The heat map, which scales to show all the nodes in the system, enables the system administrator to assess node health at a glance and quickly identify degraded or failed nodes.
The node squares are color-coded based on information from the Node Control tab. The node states shown in the heat map are updated dynamically as system status changes. As the system administrator powers certain nodes on or off (or reboots them) on the Node Control tab, the changed state of the nodes is reflected on the heat map.
In addition to the heat map, the Node Status view includes two (2) informational sections, the Node State Legend and the Node Details area.
