Node State Legend
Explanation of node states and colors in the Node State Legend
The Node Status Legend defines four (4) node states, each using a different color:
| COLOR | DESCRIPTION | |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Node is online. | |
| Amber | Node is degraded. A degraded node state can indicate that the node performance is degraded or its resiliency is affected because it is serving the targets of its HA partner node (a failover operation has occurred). | |
| Red | Node is failed. | |
| Gray | Node is powered off. |
| Node Role | Online (Green) | Failed (Red) | Degraded (Amber) | Powered Off (Gray) |

| OSS | All of the following:

| MDS | All of the following:

| Any of the following:
| Powered off |
| MGS* | Powered on | Power state unknown | N/A | Powered off |
| MGMT | All of the following:
| Power state unknown | All of the following:
| Powered off |
* If the MGS role exists on a node with another role (such as MDS), the criteria of the other role supersedes the MGS criteria.
