Navigate the Heat Map
Explanation of Hover Over and Direct Click methods to navigate the heat map
There are two methods to display state information for a specific node in the heat map: Hover Over and Direct Click.
Hover Over
Hovering over a node square causes a popup box to display to the right of the node, which identifies the node name, type, and state details. For each node, general information is available, such as whether the node is powered on or off and if it is nonresponsive and cannot be reached. Depending on the node type, additional state information is displayed.
For MGMT nodes, the state details indicate whether the selected node is primary or secondary in the management system and whether it is currently active or inactive. For OSS nodes, the state details indicate whether the node's associated HA resources are mounted and, in a failover scenario, if the HA partner node resources are also mounted. Node state details also indicate the Lustre file system status – if Lustre is mounted and running normally, has failed over, or is in a recovery state.
Direct Click
Clicking a node square causes the Node Details area to update with state information for the selected node. Also, a green border appears around the node square, indicating that it has been selected.
