Node Details
Explanation of the Node Details area on the heat map
The Node Details area of the Node Status view on the Dashboard shows detailed information about the selected node (that is, the node that was clicked in the heat map):
| Label | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The hostname of the node. |
| Status | The node status. Node states are defined in the Node State Legend, which is just above the Node Details area. |
| HA Partner | The hostname of the node HA partner. |
| Type | The node type or role (for example, MGMT, MGS, MDS, OSS). |
The Node Details area also contains a link to the Node Control tab. When clicked, this link opens the Node Control tab matrix view, with the All Server Nodes filter selected. Various filters are available to view different nodes in the system.
For each node, the matrix lists its hostname, role (node type), Lustre state, number of targets and number of mounted targets, hostname of its HA partner node, and indicates whether the node HA resources are local or have been failed over.
If an action taken on the Node Control tab affects a node state, the heat map updates automatically and displays the appropriate square color for the new state. For example, powering off an online node from the Node Control tab changes the node color on the heat map from green to gray.
