HPE Factory Express Tamper Evident Packaging Service
HPE Lifecycle Services
Service overview
The HPE Factory Express Tamper Evident Packaging Service provides an additional level of security for Customers with secure shipment requirements. Also, it provides a serialized tamper-evident seal that is applied to all exterior packaging such as pallets, racks, and overpack boxes to prevent the opening of that item without leaving evidence of access. This tamper-evident seal would be applied to access points on the packaging as defined by the Customer and would leave an imprint on the packaging if removed. The service can provide photos in electronic format documenting the condition of the packaging, as it was shipped from the HPE integration center upon Customer request.
-
- Tamper evident seal applied to packaging prevents opening without evidence of access.
- Tamper evident tape can be provided by HPE, or Customers can provide their tape that meets their requirements.
- Tamper evident tape will show tamper evidence by self-destructing, leaving evidence on the package and the tape itself.
- Photos of the items after being sealed with tape can be provided by HPE upon request.
-
- Racks and overpack boxes have serialized tamper-evident tape applied based on Customer-provided instructions for tape placement.
- Serial number information is documented and sent to the Customer.
- Photo documentation of all sealed items in the shipment (that is, racks, overpack boxes, Gaylord boxes, and such) showing the condition of packaging and placement of seals is done.
- Shrink wrap of racks and overpack boxes with plastic wrap can be provided based on mutual agreement.
-
