CSCLI Command Reference Overview

Introduction to CSCLI commands available for ClusterStor L300 and L300N storage systems

This publication provides ClusterStor Command Line Interface (CSCLI) command syntax and usage information for ClusterStor L300 and L300N systems. The CSCLI Command Reference Guide provides CSCLI command details for software releases commencing with 2.1.0. The guide is organized with a baseline section listing details for all 2.1.0 CSCLI commands. There are then separate update sections for new, modified, and deprecated commands that were introduced in releases 3.0.0 and beyond.

Release 3.1 introduced CSCLI command reference pages in the format shown in the following figure.

Note: The Release column in the table will only appear if an argument or subcommand was introduced in a later release than the command itself.

The CSCLI feature allows the administrative functions available in the ClusterStor Manager GUI to be run from a Command Line Interface (CLI) using regular SSH clients. CSCLI commands for Node Control (power management, start/stop Lustre, etc.) along with a selected number of monitoring commands are currently supported.

Since ClusterStor is in active development, the CSCLI documentation is a work-in-progress. As new CSCLI commands become available, they will be added to the guide. Notations to deprecated commands are added upon that status change.
