IP Routing

How to configure IP Routing in the Configure tab

This feature provides the option to configure IP routing to multiple networks with separate gateways on the Lustre Client Network (LCN).

  1. Click IP Routing in the list of features on the left side of the screen.
  2. Click the green + symbol to add a routing to the routing table.
  3. Enter the word default to use 0.0.0.0/0, or enter a specific IP address in the Destination field. The Destination field is the remote network to be reached through the router.
  4. Enter the correct prefix value in the Prefix field.
Prefix stands for routing prefix. The routing prefix is expressed in Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) notation. The destination and prefix define the remote network to be reached through the router. For example, in the notation 10.20.30.0/24, 10.20.30.0 is the destination and /24 is the prefix.
  5. Enter the correct router IP address in the Router field.
  6. To add another routing to the routing table, click the green + symbol again and repeat steps 3-5 for the other routings.
To remove a routing, click the red - symbol.
  7. Click the Apply button to save the changes.
