London, UK – September 22, 2026 – HPE (NYSE: HPE) today announced that Aethos London Shoreditch, a luxury lifestyle hotel in East London, is transforming its digital operations and guest experience with the HPE Self-Driving Network. Built on an agentic AI-native foundation, the platform delivers seamless, secure wired and wireless connectivity while enabling the network to operate with intelligence, speed, and autonomy, ultimately creating a more responsive digital foundation to support growth, innovation, and evolving guest expectations.

As hospitality environments become increasingly digital and service-led, Aethos has adopted a modern, AI-native networking approach, designed to deliver seamless experiences for both guests and staff. Aethos is using the HPE Self-Driving Network to unify connectivity and operations into a single intelligent platform that uses industry-leading agentic AIOps to continuously adapt to guest and staff needs. Mobile-enabled tools such as digital menus, mobile POS systems and inventory tracking for waiting staff and housekeeping streamline daily workflows and improve responsiveness, while integrated building management systems unify lighting and environmental controls, increasing operational control and energy efficiency.

Aethos, among the fastest-growing boutique lifestyle brands in Europe, is expanding its portfolio through both rapid conversions and multi-year restorations. Aethos London Shoreditch was a particularly fast turnaround. The 164-room hotel was remodeled in under two months, including a full replacement of legacy wired and wireless access infrastructure. The new solution, built on HPE Networking, delivers a 90 percent improvement in operational efficiency, while establishing a scalable blueprint for future Aethos properties across Europe.

Aethos operates at a superior level of the market: experience-led, design-driven, built for a new generation of traveller. To support that standard, we transitioned to a secure, AI-native network with HPE.

Delivering a Seamless Digital Hospitality Experience

At the core of this transformation is HPE Aruba Central, which provides end-to-end visibility across the entire environment and enables consistent, secure access for guests and staff. The platform recognizes returning guests and members across properties, automatically delivering secure, personalized connectivity through single sign-on and uninterrupted roaming. By combining real-time data, automation, and AI-driven insights, the network enables Aethos’ IT teams to move beyond manual troubleshooting to higher-value, strategic work. Issues that previously took hours or days to diagnose can now be identified and resolved in minutes, significantly improving operational agility. The platform also provides visibility into energy usage and carbon impact across IT infrastructure, supporting more efficient and sustainable IT operations. The deployment includes HPE Aruba Networking Access Points in every guest room and HPE Networking CX6200 & CX6300 Switches, delivering reliable, high-performance connectivity with the flexibility to scale as the hotel brand expands.

By combining experience-first intelligence, unified infrastructure, and built-in security, we can help Aethos simplify operations, scale efficiently, and deliver a consistently exceptional experience for every guest and every property.
