STOCKHOLM, Sweden – June 13, 2023 – Hewlett Packard Enterprise announces that Kraftringen, Sweden’s fifth largest energy company with operations in southern and western Sweden has selected the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform to modernize its IT infrastructure to quickly scale its capacity as needed in a competitive market.

Kraftringen is the fifth largest energy provider in Sweden with around 300,000 energy customers. The company’s vision is to create the most sustainable energy solutions for today and tomorrow. To achieve this vision, Kraftringen needed a modern and agile IT infrastructure that could support its critical mission of delivering energy to its customers and its digital transformation goals.

The company chose HPE GreenLake, the market-leading hybrid cloud platform which delivers cloud services that can run on-premises, at the edge, in a colocation facility, and in the public cloud. Additionally, Kraftringen will rely on HPE GreenLake to improve utilization levels, avoid the waste of overprovisioning, and minimize the resources required for power and cooling.1

Additionally, as an energy provider for thousands of citizens, Kraftringen needs to ensure that its data infrastructure is protected from cyberattacks and disasters.
