HPE and TD SYNNEX provide DSolution with a next-generation IT environment to enhances its portfolio with new offerings, improved security, performance and greater agility

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – May 16, 2023 – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) today announced that Swedish cloud services provider, DSolution, has selected HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform to deliver new cloud services and expand its infrastructure services offering. The HPE GreenLake platform will help DSolution meet its growing customer demands, and in turn, enable end users to deploy their own solutions under the agile, scalable and cost-effective as-a-service model.

With more than 7 years of expertise, DSolution provides managed IT services to more than 5,000 customers across Sweden, specifically the Mälardalen region. As part of its expansion strategy, DSolution wanted to expand its capabilities using the HPE GreenLake platform to launch a new set of cloud-based services and transform part of its existing IT estate.

Prior to the upgrade, DSolution faced a long list of challenges - their aging infrastructure was a mix of different solutions without a holistic approach. In addition, the solution had reached its maximum user limit, which meant that new customers could not be onboarded. DSolution called on HPE and its partner TD SYNNEX to design and deploy HPE GreenLake to provide a flexible, cost efficient and resilient technology environment to support growing business demands. Simpler service management and right-sized hardware improve overall utilization levels, avoid costly overprovisioning, and minimize the resources required for power and cooling.

"DSolution has ambitious growth goals and therefore wants to invest in innovative technologies to deliver competitive, high-quality services to our customers.” said Mathias Carstelius, CTO at DSolution. “HPE’s unique as-a-service-offering, HPE GreenLake cloud platform, helps us simplify management and operations so we shift focus towards delivering innovative offerings”.

This new platform, delivered on a pay-per-use basis with HPE GreenLake and managed from a single cloud interface, leverages HPE Alletra 6000 cloud-native data infrastructure and high-performance HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus servers.

“HPE GreenLake is a perfect platform for companies like DSolution which operate in the fast-paced and competitive cloud service provider sector,” said Toni Drk, Partner and SMB Sales Director, North West Europe, at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. “We’re delighted to see our solution matching market demands for smarter cloud-native platforms, whilst simultaneously reducing overheads and environmental impact by creating a scalable system that can be turned up or down to meet the precise customer need.”

TD SYNNEX, a long-time partner of HPE and DSolution, brought its expertise and experience to help develop and enable a seamless infrastructure deployment. TD SYNNEX has since played a key role throughout the sale and especially the deployment phase of the HPE GreenLake solution.

“As a trusted partner of HPE and DSolution, we are delighted to be part of this innovative cloud project. We leveraged our expertise and experience to design and implement a tailor-made HPE GreenLake solution that enables DSolution to deliver high-performance and cost-effective cloud services to their customers,” said Rikard Ericsson, GreenLake Sales Specialist at TD SYNNEX
