Service provider for NLMK Group, an international steel manufacturer, and UCL Holding, an international logistics and transportation company in Russia, turns to HPE’s as a service offering to seize new business opportunities with increased agility and reliability
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- October 28, 2020 – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) today announced that the Center for Corporate Solutions (CCS), a shared services center delivering corporate services to a leading international manufacturer of high-quality steel products NLMK Group and Universal Cargo Logistics Holding (UCL Holding) in Russia, has selected HPE GreenLake to support its digital modernization efforts and meet the increased demand for its accounting, tax, human resource, payroll and procurement processing services.
CCS provides comprehensive corporate services as a shared service center and is leveraging its extensive expertise to modernize business processes and offer advanced solutions. As part of its new growth strategy, CSS wanted to pursue additional opportunities as a broader service provider for a wider range of companies. CCS therefore needed to modernize its IT infrastructure to improve performance and reliability, and increase flexibility.
CCS chose HPE GreenLake in order to leverage the agility and innovation of the cloud, while preserving the security, governance, cost controls, and visibility of running its applications and workloads on-premises. As a result, CCS has been able to reduce IT-related costs by 10 percent and efficiently scale its IT capacity to respond to the increased demand for its services. HPE GreenLake also enabled CCS to store and process data securely on-premises - a vital necessity for a company managing sensitive, confidential data for its clients.
“HPE GreenLake helps us respond more quickly to our customers’ requirements and business demands and we have significantly increased availability and reliability of our services,” said Denis Abramenko, Head of the IT Infrastructure and Information Security Department at Center for Corporate Solutions. "We have ambitious goals for growth as a company and it has been valuable for us to work alongside HPE to ensure our IT and technology operations are able to support our business requirements. HPE GreenLake as a service model has proven to be a solid foundation for our strategic transformation.”
CCS has improved availability and reliability from the increased monitoring and proactive maintenance capabilities of HPE GreenLake. It has also been able to respond to customer requests more quickly to deliver additional new capacity when needed. Finally CCS has also increased capacity utilization and reduced total cost of ownership through HPE GreenLake to enable a cost-efficient growth strategy.
“In today’s digital world, a company’s growth strategy is inherently dependent on having the right IT infrastructure. We are committed to continuing to work closely with the Center for Corporate Solutions as the company continues to transform and drive growth,” said Andrey Kartashev, Director of HPE Pointnext Services in Russia. “With HPE GreenLake, our customers can quickly implement new solutions without making a large upfront investment and can flexibly scale the capacity in a fully controlled on-premises environment.”
