In Q3, HPE delivered solid results and completed a major milestone—closing our acquisition of Juniper Networks. Third quarter revenue of $9.1 billion was a record—both with and without Juniper contributions. Our focus on improving our operational performance resulted in increased sequential operating profit in Server, Hybrid Cloud, and our new Networking segment, which includes HPE Intelligent Edge and Juniper.
We also hosted our best HPE Discover Las Vegas yet in Q3. We introduced our new brand to the world, delivered a compelling technology story, and unveiled exciting new innovations for customers and partners.
A winning combination
With the combination of Juniper, HPE now offers a truly comprehensive cloud-native IT portfolio supported by agentic AI operations—including a modern, secure, and AI-native network—that delivers on the promise of hybrid cloud and AI. I am pleased with the progress of our integration as we build the best networking business.
In the two months since closing our Juniper acquisition, we have announced significant innovations in the HPE Networking portfolio, advancing our AI-native Mist platform to deliver agentic AIOps through more autonomous, intelligent, and proactive network operations. A complement to the new agentic AI-mesh technology from our HPE Aruba Networking portfolio, these advancements are designed to reduce IT complexity and ensure exceptional user experiences from client to cloud.
The market is noticing our innovation, as HPE and Juniper Networks were both recognized again as leaders in the latest 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure.
HPE's record revenue in Q3 underscores the momentum we have created across networking, cloud, and AI—and the value of our Juniper acquisition.
Fueling Server performance
HPE continues to innovate in our Server business as well, where results were driven by strong conversion of AI orders and solid demand for traditional servers. We are committed to meeting the expectations and needs of customers by ensuring that new accelerator technologies are developed and brought to market quickly. Last month, we launched HPE ProLiant Compute servers accelerated by the new NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs.
In traditional servers, where customers are refreshing aged infrastructure with more powerful, richly configured servers for the AI era, we expanded our HPE ProLiant Gen12 compute portfolio to include the 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors. The new servers include support for HPE Compute Ops Management with AI-driven lifecycle management. In Q3, we also released our next-generation HPE Nonstop Compute solutions for mission-critical workloads, which have double the memory capacity and system interconnect bandwidth.
Customer growth in Hybrid Cloud
In Hybrid Cloud, our HPE Alletra MP platform is driving robust growth. We have now shipped more than 5,000 Alletra MP arrays to date, helping customers achieve greater efficiency and scalability.
In private cloud, we continue to increase sales of our enterprise AI factory solutions, adding twice the number of new Private Cloud AI customers in the quarter compared to Q2, with particular interest in our developer configuration. Demand continues to grow for our software, and during the quarter we announced our new HPE Hybrid Cloud Ops Suite Software, bringing together Morpheus, VM Essentials, OpsRamp, and Zerto to assist customers from hybrid cloud orchestration, virtualization, and observability to continuous data protection.
Continued innovation in GreenLake cloud attracted approximately 2,000 new customers in Q3, bringing our GreenLake cloud customer count to approximately 44,000. At Discover Las Vegas, we unveiled GreenLake Intelligence, our framework for deploying AI agents across cloud and infrastructure, to simplify customer’s hybrid IT operations. We also expanded our agentic AI capabilities in OpsRamp, networking, and storage.
Maximizing the value of IT
In HPE Financial Services, Q3 financing volumes increased 2% year-over-year to $1.5 billion, as we continue to help customers create investment capacity to fuel their transformations. Our flexible financing options and zero-interest programs enable customers to innovate faster and smarter, maximizing the value of IT investments.
Looking ahead
Our record revenue in Q3 underscores the momentum we have created across networking, cloud, and AI—and the value of our Juniper acquisition. HPE is poised to lead in the AI era with a modern, secure, and AI-driven networking portfolio and deliver exceptional value to our customers and shareholders.
Looking ahead, I am excited for HPE’s next chapter. We have exciting opportunities in the months ahead to reiterate our strategy, celebrate our journey, and showcase our innovation—to the financial community at our October Securities Analyst Meeting, at our 10-year HPE anniversary in November, and at HPE Discover Barcelona in December. We look forward to sharing the story of who we are, where we are headed—and the essential role we play in partnership with our customers and partners.
