Accelerating business transformations for customers
In AI, we continued to see demand for our AI systems from enterprises, which accounted for one third of our Q2 AI systems net new orders. We converted more than $1 billion into revenue in Q2, up from the previous quarter.
Our partnership with NVIDIA has been instrumental in advancing generative AI adoption in the enterprise. NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE, our portfolio of co-developed AI solutions and go-to-market integrations, enables enterprise customers to accelerate adoption of generative AI. We recently added new enterprise AI solutions with enhanced capabilities for our full-stack, turnkey HPE Private Cloud AI. And just last month at GTC Taipei at Computex, we announced innovative enhanced storage and server platforms that support the entire AI lifecycle and meet the unique needs of enterprises, service providers, sovereigns and research & discovery organizations.
We have integrated NVIDIA’s latest GPUs into our supercomputers and AI systems, which have delivered record-breaking performance for generative AI inferencing. We also announced advancements in storage to unify enterprise data management and create context-rich, AI-ready object data with built-in intelligence.
We continue to innovate in traditional Compute, too. We just announced enhancements to our robust HPE Nonstop Compute platforms for mission-critical operations to help customers process more transactions quickly and grow business.
HPE GreenLake continues to be a key differentiator for us, attracting approximately 42,000 customers to date. In Q2, we launched the industry’s most advanced private cloud portfolio. With HPE Morpheus Software integrated into our HPE Private Cloud portfolio, we are transforming how enterprises modernize hybrid IT for cost efficiency, performance, and simplicity. Through this integration, we can lower customers’ virtualization costs and unify management of their entire multi-cloud and multi-vendor IT estate.
Customers have responded with strong interest in HPE Morpheus VM Essentials, which provides a strong alternative for customers looking to lower virtualization costs and simplify management. And we launched the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 SDK solution for the NVIDIA AI Data Platform, aimed at bringing data into an intelligent, orchestrated pipeline within the NVIDIA AI ecosystem.
In networking, we introduced new capabilities with HPE Aruba Networking Central to expand universal zero-trust network access solutions to help enterprises bolster cybersecurity. HPE Aruba Networking Central is also now available to deploy as an on-premises option, a feature that is particularly helpful for customers prioritizing data sovereignty.
Looking ahead
As we look ahead, we remain focused on innovating for our customers, executing our strategy, and delivering against our goals.
In just a few weeks, we will gather with customers and partners at HPE Discover Las Vegas to share our expertise and unveil our latest technology breakthroughs designed to help customers transform their businesses. It is always an honor to hear how customers are redefining what’s possible with HPE, and I’m looking forward to discussing ways HPE can help them further capitalize on the promise of this new era.
I am proud of our strong innovation pipeline, differentiated portfolio and focus on operational discipline. As we execute in the second half of the year, HPE is well positioned to help our customers unlock their boldest ambitions.
