From innovation breakthroughs to the big stage: HPE’s road to Discover 2025

June 10, 2025

Many journeys, but one path to accelerate ambition

As Willie Nelson famously sang about the merits of new adventures, HPE, its customers and partners are “On the Road Again” as we head to our most exciting, comprehensive and thought-provoking user conference we’ve ever hosted: HPE Discover Las Vegas 2025.

With over 200 technical and business sessions, a jam-packed product and solution showcase, technical training and presentations from key HPE executives including CEO Antonio Neri, HPE Discover  is the place to go to not only catch up on the latest innovations from HPE, but also to tap into trends that are driving the technology industry.

While HPE Discover is the destination, the conference is the culmination of a steady stream of new HPE product, services and solution introductions—the Road to Discover.  We’ve made over a dozen announcements in the last six months covering our entire portfolio.  From AI to security to hybrid cloud, servers to storage to networking to software, we continue to drive innovation at an ever-increasing pace.

Here are just some of the Road to Discover introductions over the past few months, with a few notable press and partner reactions:

Networking

“The new deployment options for the Central platform are “game-changing” for a lot of customers, said Andy Segal, president of Albertson, N.Y.-based solution provider and HPE Aruba partner Vandis.” (CRN)

“Cisco made headlines with the release of its data center smart switches earlier this year, but it turns out HPE has already been there and done that. Now, it’s actually coming out with its second generation of distributed services switches to expand its grip on the market.” (Fierce Network)

Servers and AI Infrastructure

“The edge is growing, so the problem is growing. The datacenter is controlled, it’s cradled, it’s constantly watched over all the time, but the edge is a little bit more of the Wild West. The challenge there at the edge is also really, really large because, again, a lot of customers don’t have experts at the edge to do those updates. It’s harder at the edge,” said Krista Satterthwaite, senior vice president and general manager of compute at HPE. (The Next Platform)

HPE CEO Antonio Neri has claimed the vendor is uniquely positioned to become an AI leader. He pointed to HPE’s super-computing capabilities, data center services, more than 300 liquid cooling patents to help make running AI systems sustainable, networking from its currently on-hold $14 billion Juniper Networks acquisition, and servers as its AI differentiators.” (Channel Futures)

“We’re extending the private cloud AI family to make the portfolio more accessible with the ability to start even faster. This solution delivers instant AI development capabilities, and it has the same predefined software tools as in our standard Private Cloud AI,” said Cheri Williams, senior vice president and general manager of private cloud and AI solutions at HPE.” (Techstrong Group)

"Our strong collaboration with NVIDIA continues to drive transformative outcomes for our shared customers. By co-engineering cutting-edge AI technologies elevated by HPE's robust solutions, we are empowering businesses to harness the full potential of these advancements throughout their organization, no matter where they are on their AI journey. Together, we are meeting the demands of today, while paving the way for an AI-driven future, said Antonio Neri, president and CEO of HPE.

“Hewlett Packard Enterprise recently unveiled two new products in its HPE Nonstop Compute lineup, enhancing their capability to support critical operations with high availability. This product launch, along with other enhancements in AI computing and networking, likely added weight to HPE's 3% price increase over the past month....” (Simply Wall Street)

Hybrid Cloud and Storage

“Enterprises are at a pivotal moment in IT modernization where they must address escalating management complexity and increasing virtualization costs to free investments for core growth areas. We are the leader in disaggregated infrastructure and our private cloud combines that leadership with new software for unified virtualization and cloud management." (HPE CTO & Hybrid Cloud GM Fidelma Russo, in Blocks & Files)

“The cost savings with HPE Private Cloud Business Edition with Morpheus VM Essentials is astronomical in compute-intensive scenarios versus VMware Private Cloud Foundation and vSphere Enterprise Plus . We have done 40 VMware-focused CPP Infrastructure Anywhere virtualization optimization assessments and are finding on average cost savings of five to 10x. The VMware pricing is outrageous...The one year savings of not doing HPE Private Cloud With HPE Morpheus VM Essentials pays a large part, if not all, of the total cost of new HPE infrastructure when you look at the VMware licensing charges over three years,” said Paul O’Dell, a partner who heads up the sales force for HPE partner CPP Associates, Clinton, New Jersey. (CRN)

“In our opinion, the most interesting HPE GreenLake feature today is a new way to respond to security threats. HPE calls this threat-adaptive security. This means that an HPE Private Cloud Enterprise environment can temporarily disconnect itself from the internet when a threat is detected.” (Techzine)

Every ambition is unique.  Our goal at HPE Discover Las Vegas 2025 is to allow you to experience these innovations and more.  And to learn about your goals and objectives—your ambition—and to partner with you to achieve them.

There’s still time to register to join us at HPE Discover Las Vegas 2025 from June 23-26 to go deep on the latest in all of these areas and more, including AI for Networking, Hybrid Cloud, Storage, Compute, and Security. We’re almost sold out - don’t miss the tech event of the year!
