At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, we are committed to being a force for good and harnessing technology to make a positive difference in our communities, and in the world. We believe that when used appropriately, technology holds the potential to solve some of society’s biggest and most pressing challenges. Technology isn’t just a tool, it can be a catalyst for change. Our programs and initiatives are designed around these beliefs, and utilize our innovative technology, our talented team members, and resources to advance the way people live and work.

Technology isn’t just a tool, it can be a catalyst for change

HPE is proud to utilize our technology in innovative ways to support communities around the globe, including our eHealth Centers in India, which serve over 6 million citizens, offering routine care, diagnostics, and vaccinations to battle rare diseases; and our high-performance computing technologies help deliver quicker and more precise climate and weather modeling thus enhancing preparedness for disasters and climate adaptation. As we continue to be a leader in how we innovate, we also believe in the need to help strengthen innovation ecosystems so that other innovators can utilize technology to develop and scale crucial solutions to benefit society.

While many for-profit organizations are playing a critical role in developing and scaling solutions to drive social impact, tech nonprofits are also at the forefront of leveraging technology and innovation for social good. These organizations with a nonprofit business model are building software to scale impact. Through HPE Accelerating Impact, in partnership with Fast Forward, the HPE Foundation has been able to help these organizations create real change.

Through the HPE Accelerating Impact campaign, the HPE Foundation supports participating tech nonprofits while directly involving our global team members. The HPE Foundation gives each team member a $25 credit to allot to any of the tech nonprofits. Since its inception in 2019, HPE Accelerating Impact has directed over USD$6.2M to technology nonprofits, positively impacting the lives of more than 360 million people. HPE also allots up to 60 hours per year for team members to volunteer with the nonprofit organization of their choice and has a pro bono program that encourages team members to use their skills and expertise for social impact.

We are thrilled to continue our support for these visionary entrepreneurs for the sixth year through the 2024 Accelerating Impact campaign, and make meaningful contributions to organizations driving change across climate, healthcare, and human rights such as:

Restor
: Accelerating the restoration movement through its open data platform, supercharging nature restoration projects that reverse climate change. Restor’s network of restoration projects spans over 130K sites and 140 countries.
