As previewed during the HPE Partner Growth Summit 2023, we’ve rolled out opportunities to further enable growth and increase revenues for our partners while they capitalize on mega trends around Edge, Hybrid Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Open enrollment to the HPE Partner Ready Vantage program enables our partners to seize opportunities and unlock untapped potential given it was designed with/for partners.

For those partners enrolled in HPE Partner Ready Vantage, it’s been a game-changing experience for enhancing differentiation, building stronger practices, and delivering complete solutions to support a variety of customer business models. These early participants tell us that HPE Partner Ready Vantage is providing the deep expertise they need, across multiple competencies, to take advantage of the ongoing double-digit growth in demand for aaS solutions.

HPE Partner Ready Vantage enables partners to further develop their expertise in delivering as-a-service solutions by enrolling in focused Centers of Expertise across three tracks – Build, Sell, and Service. (Pictured below.) Partners are welcome to enroll in as many centers as they choose, based on their unique business models or to expand into new areas.

BUILD –  Where partners develop, integrate, and create solutions

  • Technology Validation is ideal for independent software vendors (ISVs), service providers, and systems integrators (SIs) or partners looking to integrate their workloads and solutions with HPE GreenLake.

  • Solutions and Development is ideal for partners looking to take their aaS solutions to the next level by offering scale up and down, flexible billing, metering, and repeatability.

 

SELL – Where partners grow their recurring revenue.

  • As-a-Service is ideal for partners looking to re-sell as-a-service from HPE and is a “one stop shop” for resources that guides partners on their path to customers in a pay-per-use or subscription model.

 

SERVICE – Where partners can deepen their service offerings.

  • Customer Success is ideal for any partners interested in using the very same tools, assets, and methodologies used internally at HPE to expand their trusted advisor status, increase billings, and improve customer lifetime value.

  • Managed Services is ideal for partners who acquire HPE GreenLake to underpin their service offerings and for those who resell and manage HPE GreenLake solutions that are partner-led and purpose-built.

  • Professional Services is ideal for partners looking to migrate to HPE GreenLake easy while using HPE tools and IP.

 

Choosing the competencies that best fit your business model

Within the Centers of Expertise, the HPE Partner Ready Vantage program currently offers a total of 12 competencies that holistically increase partner understanding of our technology and how they can apply it to customers’ business challenges. Moving forward, this will help our partners demonstrate to customers that their HPE as-a-service competency is end-to-end, including technical, sales, solutions, and industry.

Designed to address today’s hottest mega trends, competencies are offered for AI and Analytics, Edge, and Hybrid Cloud, with additional competencies to roll out as technology innovations and market demands evolve. a single HPE Partner Ready Vantage competency may satisfy requirements across multiple Centers of Expertise—and multiple programs. Further, partners may already qualify for a number of competencies based on the training and certifications they’ve previously acquired.

Additional tools and offerings to support partners in driving as-a-service adoptions

As part of the HPE Partner Ready Vantage program enhancements, we’re also rolling out a number of new offerings to support aaS adoption among partners. Key Hybrid Cloud updates include:

 

  • Rapid migration tool, for those enrolled in the Professional Services Center of Expertise. It integrates HPE’s industry-leading consulting experiences, automation, and tools to enable end-to-end application migration to hybrid cloud. This enables partners to make unbiased assessments and workload placement recommendations to customers.

  • Partner-led services experience for HPE GreenLake, for those enrolled in the Managed Services Center of Expertise. It enables partners to lead their customers’ HPE GreenLake experience and layering their additional services on top of HPE GreenLake when desired. Developed in direct response to partner feedback, the partner-led services experience is purpose-built to provide a high level of customization.

 

In addition to the many enhancements to HPE Partner Ready Vantage, we’re also supporting partners with innovations in sales and product development.

Most recently, we announced a significant sales reorganization focused on giving our partners and customers specialized support. This includes providing solution specialists who can help not only with selling across our portfolio but also go deep into a specific solution as needed.

On the product side, we’re expanding partner collaboration and developing specific offerings to support skillsets and practices that are relevant to partners. An example is the AI inferencing compute solutions – announced at HPE Discover – that are based on our new HPE ProLiant Gen 11 servers and enable partners to change the AI customer conversation with from “how to” to “how fast”.

Science-based sustainability offerings empower partners to meet circular economy needs

As every company in the IT value change is being asked by customers to support sustainability efforts and the circular economy, we’re answering the call in a number of ways that support our partners. This includes HPE being the first IT company to set science-based targets (SBTI) across its value chain, aligned to the goals of the Paris climate accord, further enabling our partners to deliver customers with evidence-based answers.

We’ve also engineered sustainability into the HPE GreenLake as-a-service journey, which now includes the Sustainability Dashboard, that delivers key insights on IT energy consumption, carbon emissions, and electricity costs. Additional technology offerings include the HPE Certified Pre-Owned program available to partners, which fully refurbishes and guarantees pre-owned hardware. This significantly extends hardware lifecycles as the program is currently achieving a reuse rate of over 90% on returned assets.
