HPE recognized as Hybrid Cloud Leader with 2022 Stratus Award for Cloud Computing

I’m thrilled to share that HPE GreenLake is a 2022 Stratus Award winner for Cloud Computing in the Hybrid Cloud Provider category. The Stratus Awards are an annual business program from the Business Intelligence Group, that honors companies, products, and people offering unique cloud solutions. 

This  further validates HPE GreenLake as the go-to solution for private and hybrid cloud deployments, adding to the list of laurels we have already received recently including: Gartner’s annual report and rating of HPE, the CIO 100 Awards, CIO’s 2021 FutureEdge 50 Awards, CRN’s No. 1 Most Influential Executive of 2022 and Constellation Research’s Shortlist as one of the “Top 8 Solutions to Know”.

The judges recognized HPE GreenLake solves a growing problem faced by public and private organizations alike in a world that is increasingly hybrid.

Historically, the choice for organizations has been binary—either on their premises (including the data center, colo or edge) or public cloud—due to the number of barriers for entry to successful hybrid and multi-cloud adoption.

While I’m excited about this latest accolade, I’m not surprised. No other Cloud Service Provider can bring the benefits of public cloud—simple experience, on-demand infrastructure, scalability, burst capacity, pay-as-you-go, abstraction of complexity and fully managed—while at the same time addressing public cloud pain points including latency, data sovereignty, compliance, and predictable total cost of ownership.

Add a robust and growing ecosystem of ISV partners in the HPE GreenLake Marketplace and the ability to manage data across the continuum with HPE GreenLake for Data Fabric, and you have a value proposition that simply cannot be replicated. 

This is why organizations across the public and private sector, including Barclays, The Home Depot and BMW, are choosing HPE GreenLake as the foundation of their hybrid cloud strategy. Today, HPE GreenLake has 65,000 customers and over one exabyte of data under management with customers worldwide.

Two more quick HPE GreenLake and HPE Ezmeral examples include Alliant Cooperative Data and the County of Essex, who joined me on stage at HPE Discover 2022. Very different organizations—a growing marketing insights company and the largest county in the state of New Jersey—yet each have a similar set of needs from their hybrid cloud solutions: a simple experience, superior performance, compelling TCO and abundance choice. Thank you to the Business Intelligence Group for recognizing that HPE GreenLake is the foundation upon which organizations can build and run their entire operations. The positive feedback we’re hearing from our customers and the traction we continue to see in the market are the greatest form of validation, but it is always nice to receive awards like this one.

While we’re excited by these past and ongoing achievements, our gaze is always oriented toward the horizon. Right now, we’re laser focused on a strong finish to FY22 and beginning to FY23. Our key priorities include further enhancements to our HPE GreenLake cloud services, including HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise and HPE GreenLake for Data Fabric, continuing to curate a robust marketplace with pre-validated solutions from category-leading ISVs, and accelerating the momentum behind customer adoption.
