Leading HPE’s Channel as Worldwide Head of Partner Sales

Embracing my new role as leader of HPE’s Worldwide Channels and Ecosystem organization 

“Partnership first” has been the easiest value to embrace in my career. Today it feels natural to put my 22 years of experience driving business with partners at the service of one of the industry’s most mature partner ecosystems. My appointment to become the new leader of HPE’s Worldwide Channels and Ecosystem organization came after serving as HPE Worldwide Head of Distribution for the past three years, and contributing to the design of our go-forward channel strategy working in close collaboration with Paul Hunter and our partners.

I joined HPE in 2017 with the acquisition of SimpliVity, where I led the Global Channel Sales organization. In the last three years, I have worked with my peers across the organization to drive efficiency, improve experience and accelerate profitability for HPE distributors and the partners they look after. One big area of focus has also been to evolve HPE’s distribution strategy to extend its reach across the portfolio, and increase our partner penetration in the midmarket and small and medium business (SMB) segments. 

Our channel partners remain our strongest route to market, and are critical in advancing our edge-to-cloud platform-as-a-service strategy announced last year. While serving as Head of HPE Worldwide Partner Sales, Paul Hunter was the driving force supporting partners in the first stages of this journey. As our as-a-service vision accelerates and Paul “passes the baton” to me, I will ensure our partners continue to have access to the initiatives, tools, learning and collaboration opportunities they need to thrive.

I am deeply committed to HPE’s partner community – I consider them our own team members and aim to bring the same “partner-first” philosophy I’ve held for the past two decades into my new position. I look forward to working with our channel to capture market trends and opportunities, and deliver better outcomes to our shared customers.

I will continue to lead Worldwide Distribution in the interim, and prepare the ground for a further evolution of the role of HPE distributors that will expand opportunities for all of our partners.
