Two weeks ago, Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Meg Whitman announced organizational changes to accelerate our business and make HPE more competitive. As she said, these internal changes will empower us to create a company that is more efficient, agile and innovative.
As part of those changes, she announced that our sales teams will be aligned into a single global sales organization within our Enterprise Group, which I was appointed to lead.
I am delighted to announce that, starting today, Andy Isherwood will be the new leader of Enterprise Group and Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise EMEA. HPEs EMEA Enterprise Group is responsible for delivering IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, technology services, converged data center infrastructure, Telco and cloud solutions, to customers throughout EMEA.
In 1988, Andy joined HPs graduate training program and quickly rose through the ranks. In his more than 28 years with the company, hes held prominent roles in the United Kingdom, Europe, and throughout the world across infrastructure, software, sales, services and support. For the past three years, Andy has been the managing director and Enterprise Group leader for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
I have no doubt that the EMEA Enterprise Group is in good hands and will benefit from Andys leadership.
