Jeremy K. Cox
Senior Vice President & Interim Chief Financial Officer
Jeremy K. Cox is the Interim Chief Financial Officer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise following his appointment in August 2023. In addition to overseeing the Finance & Strategy organization and Communications Technology Group, Jeremy also serves as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller and Chief Tax Officer.
Jeremy’s controllership and tax officer position gives him responsibility for HPE's accounting, tax matters, and external financial reporting activities on a global basis. His teams prepare quarterly and annual financial statement filings with U.S. and international regulatory agencies and all income and transaction tax compliance dealings for the company and its subsidiaries. Jeremy also manages technical accounting support for M&A and divestiture projects.
Prior to expanding his role to become Corporate Controller and Chief Tax Officer in June 2022, Jeremy was Chief Financial Officer for Products & Services, which constitutes some of the company’s largest business units. Over the course of his 18-year tenure at HPE he has led a number of functions, including Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Global Functions Finance. Jeremy has worked across continents on international tax matters, traveling widely to represent HPE in countries such as Mexico, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, England, and China.
Jeremy had initially become Senior Vice President in 2012, when he was named Senior Vice President of Tax to oversee all tax matters of Hewlett-Packard Company and its subsidiaries, including income and transaction tax compliance, financial reporting, transfer pricing, planning, tax policy and audit. He joined Hewlett-Packard in 2005 through the acquisition of Electronic Data Systems, where his last role was Senior Tax Counsel.
Jeremy received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law. A member of the State Bar of Texas, Jeremy lives in Houston with his wife, daughter, and twin sons.
