Senior Vice President, Global Communications
Howard Clabo leads Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Global Communications group, which includes corporate media relations, product public relations, analyst relations, international communications, executive and employee communications. In this role, Howard is responsible for developing HPE’s global integrated communications strategy to support and drive the company’s business goals and corporate reputation. Howard and his team also provide strategic counsel to the company’s senior executives to effectively engage and communicate with key audiences. Howard reports to Henry Gomez, HPE’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.
Previously, Howard led the Hewlett-Packard company corporate media relations and executive communications organization. Prior to HP, he was head of corporate communications at Applied Materials, the world’s leading supplier of equipment services and software to enable the manufacture of advanced semiconductor, flat panel display and solar photovoltaic products.
Prior to Applied Materials, Howard led global media relations for FedEx Corporation across multiple operating companies and international regions. Howard was instrumental in managing and maintaining FedEx’s corporate reputation as one of the world’s most admired companies.
Howard earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Tulane University in New Orleans. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.
