Vice president of engineering, architecture, and infrastructure
Frank Caratozzolo manages and leads the engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams at Allergan. With more than 25 years of experience, he has led large transformative efforts at Fortune 500 IT organizations with a focus on establishing new capabilities to support and grow the business. In his role as vice president of engineering and architecture at Allergan, Frank has led a two-year transformation program to elevate IT to “business technology.” As part of the program, his organization has stood up a fully agile DevOps operation, implemented continuous compliance capabilities, and built 13 public and private cloud regions all with infrastructure as code. The transformation effort consolidated outdated efforts and provided platforms that decreased timelines for core services from more than four weeks to less than three days and provides environments to stakeholders in hours instead of days or weeks while ensuring the quality and compliance required. Previously, Frank held senior leadership positions supporting companies including Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Bank of America, where he led large infrastructure and modernization efforts.
