HPE Discover 2023 health and safety policy

Attendees are not required to provide proof of vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 test result

Your health and safety are important to us. We are actively tracking the emerging news and science around COVID-19 and variants. HPE also continues to monitor guidelines for health and safety measures and will adjust our plans and health protocols, as necessary.  HPE will follow all applicable laws, adapting our plans accordingly and sharing updates with HPE Discover 2023 Las Vegas audiences.

Criteria that prohibit attendance at HPE Discover 2023 in Las Vegas

  • Individuals who have been tested and confirmed as having COVID-19 or have been diagnosed as a probable COVID-19 case in the 5 days prior to the Discover Las Vegas 2023 event.
  • Individuals who have been advised or instructed by a health care provider, public health authority, or any other government authority to be under any form of quarantine or isolation.
  • Individuals who, in the 5 days prior to the event, have had any COVID-19-like symptoms (e.g., fever, dry cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, a new loss of sense of taste or smell or other COVID-19 related symptoms).

HPE recognizes that information for health and safety can be fluid, and we commit to keeping current event information available to all registrants. In an effort to provide a safe environment, HPE has instituted the following policies and procedures for the event. The COVID-19 procedures are subject to change at any time in HPE’s sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that you will carefully review, accept, and will comply with the COVID-19 procedures at all times during the event and understand that a failure to comply may result in your removal from the event in HPE’s sole discretion.

By attending the event, you acknowledge that (i) COVID-19 (including any and all variants) is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death; and (ii) while HPE has instituted certain policies and procedures to minimize the risk of COVID-19 for attendees, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people gather that cannot be completely eliminated.

By attending the event, you agree that you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against HPE and against any companies affiliated with HPE, and their directors, officers, employees and agents, relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.
